A must stop on your Hwy 101 trip just north of Paso Robles.

Gorgeous interior with original wall paintings!! This mission is authentic from 1797. It is the 16th mission of the 21 California Missions.

$10 every donation for seniors. Definitely worth the fee to help keep this mission intact.

Beautiful Mission. We went on Palm Sunday. Got there right before mass. It was our first mission of the day . Got to see the start of mass outside . The gift shop ladies were very nice . We didn't do the tour. We was limited on time .

Fantastic history and surroundings --- lovingly restored after an earthquake did damage in 2003. Definitely worth a stop as it's right off the highway.

The self tour is indoors and outdoors. You can visit the exterior , cemetery side without ticket. The interior of the church itself is painted. We found the experience restful, informative, and tranquil. The atmosphere is soothing. The garden is well tended, we visited in winter.

A beautiful Mission on the El Camino Real (The Royal Road). If you enjoy history, they have plenty of artifacts to view on the self guided tour.

Beautiful mission, love that they still gave a portion of the original 1797 building in tact!
They were having mass and a huge retreat on the property, so was nice to see a really busy day out in this small town.

Outside the mission, a man selling shaved ice cream was there, for $6, you get a huge cup of freshly shaved ice cream and fresh strawberries/ agua fresca mix, overall a great experience!
