Paul was a great teacher and full of knowledge. I had no prior rope experience and I learned so much. It was a great experience. Carla was very welcoming and Scout was super cool too! Recommend them 100%!!!

Buyer Beware! Do not come to this course if you have no prior experience on ropes or if you would like to get into the industry. Their instructors are hired based on experience in the field and not based on their teaching abilities. I spent $1700 to come in on my behalf to get my level one sprat certification. Throughout the week the training instructor would show the exercise one time, ask if there are any questions, and then disappear leaving you to struggle by yourself. It became so bad that I resorted to recording the instructor on my phone doing an exercise so I could look back.

As someone with absolutely no experience I felt I was left alone too many times and not given proper guidance on how to correctly do an exercise. Throughout training the level one instructor would be out helping level twos and threes instead of being around and assisting. For spending almost $2,000 I shouldn't have to yell to my get my instructor’s attention because I have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. I even took my own time to stay after class to run through an exercise because I felt I was still a little hazy on the steps.

Come test day (Mon-thur training, test out on Friday) I failed because one of my connection points was not strong enough. I am not writing this to argue the legality of my failing because I can admit I did mess up. I am writing this because I feel I have not gotten my money’s worth in the slightest. I paid almost $2,000 to drive there, waste a week of my life and leave empty-handed. Any normal person would ask "Well what about retakes?" Not only did they not offer to give me a retake for free they wanted me to pay an additional $1200 to try again when they have a course that's not full. It truly is a shame this is Reno’s only option when it comes to rope access. Not only are they over charging($1,395 in other places) they are underperforming and as a consumer I felt as if I have been wronged and have not got what I paid for.

Do not buy this course if you have no experience with ropes, you are not a ridiculously fast learning, or if money is tight. They do not care about making trained technicians, they only want your money.
