My daughter is a kindergartener at Monticello Academy. We have been impressed with the school so far. I appreciate the frequent updates and communication from the school and the teachers with texts, emails, and remind messages. The school requires 40 hours of volunteer work by parents of students. I feel like this is beneficial for the school, the parents, and the students as it encourages parent involvement in their child’s education. I also really appreciate the schools organization and security. Drop off and pickup is secure and efficient. As an educator myself, I chose Monticello for my daughter for the rigorous academics and competency based curriculum. My daughter has loved her experience at Monticello and has already learned so much. I look forward to seeing more of the curriculum and program as the year continues.

We're new to school this year but so far we're really enjoying it. Love our teachers and have been impressed with the structure and focus of the school. I'll update if anything changes but so far the kids and I love monticello.

My daughter had bullying problems at this school and when I brought it to the administration it took two months for them to meet with me about the bullying issues. The principal also didn’t meet with me until I contacted her boss, the director of both Monticello schools, then she made time to meet with me. My daughter was pushed, kicked, and verbally abused by another student in her class and I felt my concerns were brushed aside. Would not recommend this school.
