While on vacation my back locked up forcing me to the Montrose ER. I can't say enough about the staff I interacted with. Absolutely top professional at every level! Dr Berg in particular diagnosed my root cause pain. Her combination of a prescription, OTC medical and approach provided the relief needed to finish our vacation. Thank you to the entire staff of Montrose ER.

After being humiliated at Urgent Care, I went to the ER. They got me back to a room with very little wait. Everyone was so kind. They diagnosed my issue and even had a physical therapist come In to work with me. I am very thankful for their help and professionalism yesterday!

What a waste of medical insurance and everyone’s time. I could’ve been in pain in the privacy of my own home. Instead of having nurses leave my door open for everyone and their brother to walk by and stare. Hearing other pts diagnosis/issues, insurance issues and what tests they need done. ?
$700 a month for medical insurance to use it and be told your diagnosis is “abdominal pain of unknown origin”
Blood Pressure 86/41 at one point and no one even bothered to come and check on me. ?
Thank you Jesus that I was okay, for an ER they don’t monitor their pts well.

Great experience and comforting care. Dr Quenelle was awesome, knowledgeable, and very helpful. As a physician myself I felt extremely well cared for- thanks to doc and staff!!

Hour plus wait, have never had mine or my husbands pain seriously taken. My husband had necrotizing pancreatitis and they didn’t take his pain seriously put him in a drug coma and flew him to Denver for me I went in for server back pain couldn’t walk and they were bringing in people that didn’t need to be seen as urgent as me I know that sound self fish but a random lady had to help me into the bathroom and put me on the toilet because of how long the wait was and they wouldn’t help me because I wasn’t “admitted” yet

Literally the worst emergency room. Rude intake ladies at the front, rude triage nurse. In the end, they forgot to send in my prescription and they forgot to take down my personal info, such as demographics and insurance before I left and had to call me back to get that from me. The doctor was good, but waiting on the nurses to discharge me took about as long as the whole time leading up to that point. During the time I was waiting, I could hear a lot of personal stories and jokes. I understand that people should enjoy where they work and have good times w coworkers, but not so loudly that everyone can hear your personal information and borderline appropriate jokes. This is my only and last time coming to Montrose for emergency care. I had been warned by many people to never go there and instead drive to Delta for their emergency care and I will definitely be doing that for any future needs. I don’t think this place will ever care about how they are perceived. This place has had a bad reputation for at least a decade as far as I’m told. You would think something would change but I doubt that.

I had a great experience at the ER today in Montrose when I went in experiencing pelvic pain. Dr. May, Vicki the Ultrasound Tech, and all the nurses were kind, compassionate and professional. I was in and out in an hour! I feel like Emergency Rooms can be very hit or miss, and also have a bad reputation. I couldn’t have felt more cared for here! Thank you all for taking care of me!

I have unfortunately had two visit to this ER the past month and both times I have found the staff to be competent, caring and kind. The work up was thorough and quick. No one wants to go to ER, but it’s nice to know we have such a good ER in a small town.
