This is a great parent-participation program! My 4yo is in his 3rd year at MVPNS and my 18mo just started the toddler program one afternoon a week. My 4yo loved it so much as a toddler that he talked about it all summer. He loves the open-ended play with other kids. I love the way teachers treat the kids, because how people treat him is how he'll treat me and his brother!! The parent community is great and I every parent meeting w Teacher Claire I learn something that helps my parenting.

We are currently in our 4th year at MVPNS, the first year with our second child, and we can't say enough good things about our experiences over the years. The teachers are the heart and soul of the school. Their dedication to the program and the kids and their love for learning leads to the excitement we feel every time we arrive at school. We especially love the play based child led approach as well as the open and spacious indoor and outdoor areas for the kids. Being able to attend and participate in the classroom is such a gift that has taught us so much as a parents, and treasure the time actively participating in your child's education. We have made lifelong friends from being part of the MVPNS community. I can't imagine sending my children anywhere else!

Our family loves MVPNS! Our older daughter attended this preschool for 2 years, and this is our younger daughter's first year there. We appreciate that MVPNS is a play based preschool, which facilitates learning through play. The children learn how to solve problems, and engage in a wide variety of learning activities that cater to the needs and learning styles of all children. The teachers are so wonderful, and truly care about each child and their family. They are warm, welcoming, and create a caring community that includes all of the MVPNS families. The teachers go above and beyond to build a positive learning environment that supports the children. The parent participation component of MVPNS allows parents to be involved, and they are able to watch the children learn and grow.

My family had an amazing experience at MVNPS. I have two daughters who each spent all their preschool years enjoying the teachers, wonderful yard, and all the thoughtfully created projects and traditions created by the MVPNS teachers.

The teachers recognize each child's individual strengths and encourage their self-esteem through age appropriate projects and play. They do tons of art projects, played and danced to music, had projects and activities that focused on gross motor and small motor skills, helped the students build social skills and learned healthy coping skills. The teachers also spend a lot of time supporting the school community by attending the schools educational speaker nights, going to school potlucks, fundraisers, and so much more.

Both my girls loved Teacher Diane and her endless commitment to creating a stimulating and interesting classroom and projects for the 2's classes. As well as Teacher Claire whose has an infectious joy and amazing ability to connect with children. She created such a safe and fun space for our daughters that they quickly lost their fear of separation and began their love of learning and trying new things. Teacher Cindys calm and nurturing spirit made my daughters class a wonderful place to explore new things. Teacher Rachel was so authentic and kind that my daughter trusted her immediately and she created a classroom that fostered by daughters self esteem and encouraged her to make friends. And Teacher Marie encouraged my daughter to ask questions and fostered her interest in science and her ability to figure out problems. Each teacher was so dedicated to their students that they would spend hours on the weekend preparing curriculum and new projects.

I cannot give enough praise for this amazing school that the Director and Teacher Claire has lead with wisdom, thoughtfulness, joy and endless passion. We will always remember our years at MVPNS with gratitude.

We love Mountain View Parent Nursery School for its play-based philosophy in early education, generous outdoor space and its freedom to run around, bike, scooter, swing, bounce, get messy in the mud kitchen or with inventive art projects you won't mind displaying at home, and thoughtful fine and gross motor activities in every corner of the campus for every learner. Working parents equally are able to fulfill the working requirements, so consider this co op! The parent participation component organically builds community that has lasted beyond our years at the preschool. I could not imagine strangers/other parents taking care of my child as if my child were their own. The co op wraps around the entire family and has supported me in my parenting through parent education in class meetings and workshops. My children greatly anticipate coming to school on school days, which are outrageously fun like students bringing in stuffies to sleep over at school with teachers arranging their stuffies having tea parties in the classroom, reading books, taking photos of the stuffies having fun at school in case children miss their stuffies and ask their parents what his/her stuffie is doing at school.

But MVPNS' biggest asset is its hardworking staff who truly loves to nurture young children where they are, and their parents. My children have blossomed in confidence, conflict resolution, speech, social maturity, and courage to try new and/or uncomfortable things. Teachers make sure to spend time with each child every day, are the first to greet each child and say goodbye at the gate to each child at the end of the day. I have felt completely safe leaving my children with these teachers.

Our family LOVES Mountain View Parent Nursery School! My 3yo is completing her first year there and adores all of the activities, the songs, the play areas, and especially her teachers and friends. MVPNS invites parents and caregivers to create a sense of community as they volunteer and help shape their children's early experiences with schooling. Tasks on and off campus are flexible to meet busy parent schedules and allow caregivers to give children just enough independence to learn and feel empowered. Last but not least, we love the opportunities for parent education and fun, family events outside of school. We can't wait to come back next year!

This is our third year at MVPNS, and both my kids have had a wonderful experience. Teachers are thoughtful and attentive to each child's needs. I love that children are free to choose their activity through free play, and get to spend lots of time outside. Working at the school has helped me build my parenting skills as I was able to see first hand how teachers (and other parents) guide children, handle conflicts etc. It is a welcoming and caring community. I wholeheartedly recommend the school to other families.
