I was apart of Ram's first intensive yoga teacher training in the summer of 2022. The only problem I had was that it didn't feel long enough time wise for me personally. I absolutely LOVED the incredible experience Ram gave to all of us in our class as we were the first in person training since the pandemic and I would've loved to have had it extended even further knowing how wonderful I felt being so present doing yoga together. He brought such an authentic, genuine & spiritual form to his yoga practice and teachings we learned about in class and I truly felt so good being in studio with my other fellow classmates having Ram as our instructor learning these lessons from. He knew exactly why & how to teach us from a traditional origin which I deeply valued and appreciated. I highly recommend him & LBSOY as your first choice for a YTT if you are local or even farther out like I was. Definitely worth the longer commute coming and going every week for me. Thank you again for the life transformative experience you led Ram. It will always be something I remember, have fond memories of to cherish & long to experience yet again in whatever other facets I do in this lifetime! Namaste

This yoga training has been a wonderful, life-changing experience. My time spent at LBSOY brought a zen to my life outside of classes along with a life-long yogi tribe. Ram is extremely knowledgable on the history, theory, philosophy, and psychology of yoga, and the best part is how eager he is to share it with you. He has a true love and passion for the art and lifestyle of yoga, and it transfers to us students. I love that Ram's training is not the typical training you would get from a yoga studio chain. You learn from a more traditional approach with Integral Yoga, Ayurveda, Yoga Sutras, and Meditation, but are also trained in Vinyasa Flow, Ashtanga, and etc. You also get to go on a stellar retreat where you eat, breathe, and sleep yoga for a weekend! My knowledge, practice, passion, and love of yoga has deepened tremendously thanks to Ram's training course. It was a welcoming, safe, and healing experience that I wouldn't have gotten anywhere else!

The class size was small, which allowed individualized attention and closeness. The yoga practice itself was amazing. I had the privilege of being given more than 200 hours of yoga teacher training with the one and only Ram Bhakt. He not only elected to do this private training for me and another student from the seva in his soul.. but even with gaining little financially from this decision, he gave his time, his energy and even MORE knowledge from all of his many ventures in different ashrams learning under many teachers traveling countries. He showed me the importance of slowing down in a practice to gain greater control over calming the mind with breath. This not only changed my attunement, but my senses were deepened through the practice of yoga as well as receiving its origin stories. The tradition and derivation of yogic principles deepened my own body’s ability to receive more in the pranas and styles that were introduced all with the basis of integral yoga. I appreciated Ram’s heart of service, childlike laughter, and commitment to giving us his all as a yoga teacher of teachers himself. Thank you Ram for this thoughtful and memorable experience. Ram Bhakt is a great yoga instructor! His teacher training for Long Beach School of Yoga was superb! I really enjoyed his mix of professionalism, knowledge, and a sense of humor! This session of teacher training was mostly on zoom due to the covid pandemic but Ram was very personable and engaging. The final weekend of practice classes were in person and were the highlight of the session. I contemplated taking teacher training for a few years and am so glad that I finally did. Long Beach School of Yoga (LBSOY) has been a life changing experience for me.
This course came at a time when life was filled with extreme stress and hard life changes. Ram's wisdom and gentle teaching style was perfect and really helped deepen my love of yoga which gave me the strength to make it through some hard times.
The teaching was well rounded and had a lovely pace. I really appreciated Ram's real life experience he shared in his teaching that helped give a deep understanding of what he was teaching.
The course gives a great appreciation and understanding of the deep inner workings that go on when you bring yoga into your life.
