We had been eyeing this school for awhile and once our son was about to turn 3 we toured it and fell in love! He’s been there for almost 3 months and we’ve noticed a huge difference in his confidence and imagination. Every staff member is so nice and caring. They have really cool vendors for the kids 3x a week. The property is beautiful and is a child’s dream! They spent most of their day outside which just makes me so happy. Our son loves the outdoors and is thriving in this sort of learning environment. Highly, highly recommend nature school!!

Nature School of Fairview has help my daughter open up vast amounts of confidence, independence, and personality! The school is one of a kind and irreplaceable. Prior to enrolling her last year, I had concerns she may get behind academically. I was unfamiliar and wary of putting too much emphasis on free learning and play. It’s been the complete opposite! I couldn’t be happier with how well rounded the curriculum is, and knowledge she’s absorbing while still having fun; not being stuck at a desk! This was the perfect place for my child to start her education. Staff is amazing, genuine, attentive, and loving to all their students! I feel that my daughter is ahead and thankful this school nurtures her love of learning. If you are considering enrolling your child in this school or one of their outstanding summer camps, don’t hesitate!

My son has been attending the Nature School for a year and every day has been a joy for him, and consequently for me as a parent. The teachers are outstanding. Ms. Dee is particularly remarkable. Her dedication, patience, and genuine care for my son shine through in everything she does.

Another aspect that sets The Nature School apart is their commitment to outdoor activities. The overall atmosphere is one of warmth and positivity. My son is always excited to go to school, which speaks volumes about the nurturing environment created by the staff.

We could not be happier with the Nature School of Fairview. They treat the children with respect, the curriculum is amazing, small student teacher ratios, they have so much time outdoors to explore and learn in the way that kids are built to learn rather than forcing them into a box. The staff communicates extremely well with parents and actually listen/give feedback. Switching to a new school is hard, but from the first meeting that we had with the director to tour the school we have felt seen/heard and valued. The only negative is that we didn’t begin attending sooner!

My son has language delays and had a rough time at his previous Montessori school due to a lack of attention. So, I enroll him in Nature School for just one week initially to give it a try. To my delight, he fell in love with the camp from day one and he never wanted to leave when it was time to pick him up.

The teachers at Nature School are incredibly nice and make sure every child is actively involved. The curriculum is fun-packed, offering a wide range of activities every day, encouraging kids to embrace nature, play with insects, animals, mud, and take turns to climb a tree (small and safe of course).

Despite the 50-mile drive each day for us, the experience was well worth it. I only wish the school was closer so we could join their regular school year programs. But, we're already planning to return next summer without a doubt! The memories and growth my son gained here will be cherished forever.

In short, Fairview Nature School Summer Camp provided an amazing experience for my son, and I highly recommend it to any parent in DFW who live near and far looking for an exceptional summer camp.

My granddaughter is new to The Nature School and she absolutely loves it! The class sizes are small, the learning techniques are age appropriate and the projects and events are just like the name of the school. They seem to incorporate nature into all aspects of teaching. There is even a fairy garden to walk through! Love it!
