Nevada Desert Experience helped me learn that I have a voice and can speak up for peace. It helped me learn community is possible and love is real, with shared values. I attended my first Seder, my first Sunrise Ceremony, and my first peace vigil at an air force base during the Sacred Peace Walk. I learned about nuclearism, desert prison racism, Goddess spirituality, gift economy, and the US government's violation of the Treaty of Ruby Valley. My life is forever changed by peace activism and the beauty of holy week in the sacred desert. My gratitude is inexpressible. Thank you to everyone who builds this movement for justice and true love of humanity.
