I had first worked with Mr. Ouellette when I got my first degree black belt in 2001. After taking some time off during college and life, I wanted to get back into training and found my old dojo had changed owners and my instructors had moved on. I was delighted to find out that Mr. Ouellette had opened a new studio locally and encompasses the same values and dedication I am used to.

Every class I get to work hard but my limits are always a consideration (I have muscle issues) and I love the small classes and individual attention. After coming in a few times, I brought my kids in to learn and they've been enjoying classes for the last year.

I could not ask for a better karate school or instructor. Mr. Ouellette is patient, knowledgeable and fun!

I had no prior karate experience and was initially interested in just the self defense aspect. The instructor is very patient and thorough with each individual student and has made me feel that I belong here. He encourages us to learn and makes it accessible for beginners (like myself) alongside advanced belts. It's also a great workout!
