Our daughter loves going to New Horizon and her teacher Miss Karina! The staff is caring and attentive. They have a wide range of activities to stimulate and engage the kids. We were able to start our daughter half-day for 2 days a week and slowly work up to 5 days a week full-time. The ability to slowly acclimate her into the school made for a smooth transition. Their app is easy to use and we appreciate the pictures and updates we get through out the day. We can also message the teachers directly with any questions or to just check in on how she’s doing. I’d absolutely recommend New Horizon!

I have 3 kids and all of them have attend New Horizon at Boise Ave. This is a phenomenal daycare/preschool. My children are extremely happy there and I know that the teachers love my kids as if they were their own, and are taking very good care of them. My children don't cry at drop off, they run in to hug their teachers and see their friends. And when my daughter left her lovey there on a Friday night, the director and teachers came back in at 9pm to help my husband find that lovey. They go above and beyond and truly care about our kids. I highly recommend NHA!
Fabulous Facts:
- they are open from 7am-6pm (great for working parents)
- they feed your kids breakfast, lunch, and several snacks. No packing food!!
- they will work with you to potty train your kid!
- they are very good with dietary restrictions and accommodated us when our kids had medical needs
- you pay half rate when you miss a full week of school (you have to give them notice)
- the list goes on...

There are few places in Boise that have structured curriculum, no tvs for kids to watch, food is apart of the tuition, and they help potty train. This place is amazing!

We absolutely love New Horizons for our two girls! The staff is responsive, the classrooms are clean, and it's a great balance between play and learning. I would recommend NHA to anyone who wants a safe and supportive learning environment for their children.

New Horizon Academy in boise has been so amazing for our family! Brandy and Gena are so amazing! Our baby girl started around 6 months old in the infants room and has even been in the toddler room for a little now. All of the teachers have been amazing and they take such good care of the kids. They sing songs for the Littles, do art projects, and really teach the babies lots of things throughout the day! Our little girl gets so excited to see her friends at the academy and you can tell she really loves it. The teachers and school leaders really work with you while your child is in the infant room to get a routine down that you and your baby needs, and help so much in the switch to the toddler room. They can move the baby over to the toddler room slow or faster, whatever is comfortable for you/the baby. I was and can still be a super anxious mom, but with them using the procare app I can check in on my baby when I need to and see pictures throughout the day. If I have questions or want to see more photos, the classroom leads are super amazing at getting questions answered and sending more photos to ease any separation anxiety I had with my baby! I seriously recommend this Academy to any moms looking for quality care and education for your Littles! You can really tell that they love working there and put effort into teaching and caring for your child!

My oldest (who is now 8) went here for several years and we were heartbroken to leave. The staff felt like family and I had no complaints! My daughter was always happy, clean, well taken care of, and learned so much to prepare her for school! I now have a toddler and am happy to see that the same director, Brandy, is still there! She is amazing. We will be sending our son here as well and can’t wait to be back. I toured a few other daycares closer to home since this one is a little drive for us but I saw some questionable things. I would rather drive a little farther for the peace of mind that new horizon gives me! Communication is great & back when my daughter was enrolled they offered so many fun things for the kids like dance classes, Spanish, picture day, arts & crafts, summer camps, etc. We can’t wait for our son to learn and grow here!

We’ve had two kids at NHA and across the board find the staff caring, compassionate, and engaged. Our daughters have thrived here and built close relationships with the teachers. We so appreciate how every staff member knows our kids! They build community here.

DO NOT bring your kids here! Within 30 days. They left a kid outside and that employee still work there. Kaylay. They dislocated a child's shoulder and no one was paying attention to the child. So the poor 1 year old was left in pain all day until the parents took him to the ER. My child also a 1 year old ended up with 5 stitches because of their incompetent staff. If you want your kids safe take them else where!

We've been sending our kiddo here for over a year. His teachers, Ms. Erin and Ms. Ashley, are so friendly and communicative! I feel comfortable knowing that he's safe learning with them. You can tell that they have a lot of experience working with children. He is excited to go each morning, and at the end of every week my spouse and I talk about what amazing new skills he's learned.
