One of the best decisions of my life I ever made, was to join NHC. You come in here as a student and you leave as family... it's so true! Everybody is awesome and very welcoming!! They have different schedules to fit your needs. I've had to change my schedule many times because of work and my kids schedule, and I always managed to find a class to make it to. Another thing, nothing better to be able to punch and kick something legally and take out your frustration!!!

I’ve been kickboxing at NHC for over 12 years, and I can't recommend it enough! This place truly offers something for everyone, regardless of age or experience level. The kickboxing classes are fantastic; they are not only invigorating but also welcoming to newcomers. Even if you've never been in a boxing class before, you'll feel right at home.

What sets NHC apart is the community. Everyone here is incredibly nice and supportive, creating an inspiring atmosphere that motivates you to keep coming back. The encouragement from fellow members makes each class enjoyable and fulfilling. If you’re looking for a great workout and a wonderful community, NHC is definitely worth trying!

Great place for Martial Arts and Fitness. My daughter received her Black Belt her many years ago, the lessons and confidence she learned here has done her well. I also enjoyed the kickboxing classes. Master Kim and the instructors were always very friendly and welcoming. Love this place 💖

A place for everybody! NHC Martial Arts & Fitness has it all, from kids’ classes to cardio kickboxing, to hardcore Muay Thai or Jiu Jitsu. Everyone there is so friendly and truly makes you feel like family. The owner, who is also an instructor, is so welcoming and knowledgeable. I’ve been to many other martial arts and kickboxing places that are just overpriced and all fluff. NHC is not that, it’s the real deal. I always get a great work out and feeling great when I leave.

The training at NHC in Los Alamitos is a fantastic supplement for marathon runners focused on strength and longevity.

NHC offers a well-rounded approach that emphasizes core stability, flexibility, and resistance training, all essential for reducing injury risk and enhancing endurance. And, the training comes in an art and practice format. Master Kim and everyone at NHC rocks!

My family has gotten so much out of the National Hapkido Center in Los Alamitos for over 20 years. Our son began in Hapkido before he was a teenager. He loved going to class and got his blackbelt in Hapkido. Not only did he benefit physically from the training, but it also taught him respect. My husband followed him and also received a black belt in Hapkido. My husband and I then enjoyed kickboxing and TaeBo classes for many years. All of the instructors are very knowledgeable and encouraging. It is a great way to work-out in a fun environment. We have made numerous friends thru our involvement at NHC. I now enjoy going to yoga there on Saturday mornings. I would highly recommend the National Hapkido Center Martial Arts and Fitness to anyone, of any age, interested in martial arts and/or just conditioning.
