Location just off the highway! Clean restaurant, friendly service, tasty food, at a very fair price.
Our family had chopped beef, pulled pork and delicious cheese burger meals. The burger was hot with cool, crisp lettuce & tomato, and refreshing diced onion and sliced pickle. Just enough of everything to make a great cheeseburger! Okra with ranch appetizer, and the fries and coleslaw with our meal were delicious. Finely chopped, flavorful coleslaw. The BBQ sauce on table is semi sweet with a nice tangy taste.
Any time we're in town, we love to eat at Nick's! Always a delight. They even have a small book-sharing library in the front yard.

Visited Nick's for the first time yesterday for lunch. It was GREAT. The atmosphere was nice, the food, the staff. It was an overall experience. I wish it were closer to town, but it was worth the trip. Go ahead and try everything. The smoked meats are perfect, the fried fish. It was all a treat. Definitely make the trip out to Nicks, take a friend

I’ve been wanting to try out this place for a while and finally got the chance today! I tried the catfish & bbq meat (chopped brisket) combination. I loved the fried catfish! It was seasoned well and crispy on the outside, moist on the inside! The brisket was okay in my book. They have a large dirt lot for semi truck parking, so that’s great for all the truckers wanting good food over the road!

I just Waited a 1/2 hour for Nick's to open. a friend of mine raved about them. I spent $25 and change on my combo meal of beef and chicken w onion rings n mac n cheese sides, Now the food is good... but I just feel like for $25, I should have gotten more food. Disappointed in the amount of food for the price. I was given literally 3 onion rings ? they were some of the best onion rings I've ever had tho ?‍? unfortunately I won't be back. I need to not feel cheated when I go places.

The catfish batter was a bit too salty. The turnip greens were not eatable, my pork-ribs were ok I definitely had a lot better. Beens tasted like they were from a can. The fried pies were good. Its ok food. Try not to sit to close to the bathrooms if your sense of smell is good. Big plus is that the parking lot is big for truckers. There is at lease 15 truck parking slots. Staff is pleasant and friendly

Service was spectacular, and the food was pretty good. I had the shrimp, fish, and bbq special with the ribs, and everything was top tier. There is plenty of room for truck parking. It's nice that there are still places that still cater to truckers.

Would be my first time at Nick’s and loved it!
Had some fish fried earlier and want to try it at Nick’s and I was not disappointed!
Love the batter and that genuine fatty flavor in the fish and without the fishy smell!
Would have eat all the fish fried excepts the fried pickled came out first and boyzzz that leave little room for the fish fried!
Will be back to try the BBQ on another trip!
