This Union saved my life. I made stupid decisions and ended up in prison for many years.this union gave me a career where I could succeed and provide a great living for my family. If you are willing to work hard you can and will be successful. Great benefits,excellent pay and a pension

I was laid off on the first week of September 2017. Ever since I was unemployed until November 2017. I was then laid off 2 days later. Ever since that, I was once again unemployed until last year on September 2018 I got a,job at an Insulation Company that was Non-Union. I was then laid off again because the company lost a contract with the City of Pomona. I was unemployed again and still am. During all of last year I've been contacting the Union for work specifically Ted Jimenez. He was absolutely no help whatsoever. I was told to go to the Union meetings and I would get help there but nothing worked. I went to Long Beach, Santa Monica, San Diego, etc, and nobody helped me. Keep in mind I was spending my gas and I had no employment during that time so money was tight. They still expected me to go to school but how could I? Why would I? So, I was kicked out of the program because I wouldn't show up since I was broke and had to provide for my wife and newborn baby. I had to do side jobs and work under the table. Then we lost our apartment because this so called union still wouldnt find me work. Then I stopped paying my dues because it was hard. Then I receive a phone call of a guy saying they're gonna kick me out if I don't pay. How dare they?! They call each other a brother and sister but what about me? I'm nobody to them. They just want my money.
