Well I was there from 2014-2016 and it was a decent experience in Arts and Media. I have no clue on how it is currently but I hope it's better than it was before. Like seriously, take away the bullying and neglection from authority and it could've been a great experience. The only good parts about that school were the teachers and a really close friend of mine. I sure enjoyed advanced band though.

Parents plz don’t send your kids to this school because this school is bad quality and it’s not safe because students bring sharp weapons like knives and the principal isn’t aware that the kids have them Ms Guerrero is taking pictures of other students doing bad things and the staff have wanted to threaten to record us. They lied to my mom about this school being the best quality also the canceled the six flags field trip that we paid 60 dollars for .

Last year, I came to this school and I adored all of my teachers. (GSTA's Mr. Medel was awesome) I was in AVID and was doing extremely well in my classes. I was chosen as Student of the Month and had lunch with the principal, Mrs. Guerrero I believe was her name. I told her that I wanted to become a lawyer of some sort or a forensic scientist. She told me that I wouldn't achieve my wanted career because my parents, immigrants that don't have a high annual income, wouldn't be able to pay for my tuition. What type of person, especially a principal, would ever say that to a child? I was absolutely shocked and immediately moved schools after this experience. Like I said, the teachers are magnificent in GSTA, but the principal is an entirely different story.

There are fake caring teachers and staff doesn't do anything about it. Students are bullied and slipping through the cracks. Special ed classes are treated as second rate students and faculty members avoid any kind of interaction between them. They even isolate them in a small area away from the other children.
