I have gone back and forth for a while about posting a review, but i am struggling for childcare this week again because we had to withdraw care from Papa Bear. I just want to warn other parents of our situation so they don’t end up struggling like we are.

I am in nursing school so we decided to pay premium for after school care so my husband and i are not struggling this semester with juggling childcare. Basically, 2 weeks after my son started at their after school program, they didn’t pick him up from school. My first grader called me upset from his watch. I picked him up and called them to inform them of the mistake. The director was really nice and apologetic about it. We gave them a second chance and made a plan on my end and their end so this wouldn’t happen again. Two weeks later it happened again. They didn’t know they didn’t have my son until I called them both times to inform them. We pulled him after the second incident. Now we are back to minimal childcare and struggling to juggle those random days off that he has. Just know that this is a possibility if you go here.

Papa bear day care is top notch , staff is incredible and my little girl was been going for 3 years and loves it and learns SO much , the way they care for their children enrolled here is incredible ! And I love the constant updates they send you throughout the day to keep you updated on everything that goes on . Highly recommend!!

5 stars is not a high enough rating for the bears den. All of the ladies there are amazing, but I especially want to give a shout out to Keysha, Shell, Italee and Brooke. They treat my son like their own and I never have any worries leaving him there. Thank you for taking such good care of my child!

I really can't say enough good things about Papa Bear. They are so great with my kids. They have patience and communicate with me so well and it really makes me feel good knowing my kids are safe and happy. We've had bad experiences with other day cares and I was skeptical to send my kids to another place that could end up being the same as the others, especially with a toddler that can't tell me about what goes on throughout his day. But he is so happy when I pick him up every day and is worn out from all of the fun activities Papa Bear organizes. Thank you so much, PB. You have sincerely improved my life and more importantly, my kid's lives.

We've been using Papa Bear for a little more than a month. For infant care, Papa Bear is outstanding! They take great care of our twins, communicate very often, their staff are pleasant and courteous, and they are well-organized. I've used several other daycares in the area, and Papa Bear is one of the best.

The infant/toddler location for Papa Bear Daycare has been nothing short of awesome! They care about the kids and are always forthcoming about anything that happened during the day. They communicate frequently and appropriately so if there's a bump on the head or a tummy ache at the end of the day, we know what happened, when and what was done about it (medicine, treatment etc.)

They have a great curriculum with sensory activities, motor skill practice and art for young kids that helps them learn and we see it helping our child every day.

I definitely recommend Papa Bear to everyone!

My daughter (3) was attending since a little bit before she was 1 year old and she has loved it!!! She would learn so much and she learned some good social skills and how to befriend anyone! Since she attended has learned how to be outgoing, gained good manners and even learned to clean up after herself. I’m so happy I took her there I did not regret it when I would drop her off! I absolutely love the staff they are so nice and they all look like they care and love for the kids so much! one employee did happen to befriend our kiddos. Valerie! She is the best! Everytime our daughter would show up she would show so much joy to see her and our newborn. She always carried out a conversation with us and we would reminisce on how big my daughter has grown!

They do such a great job caring for the kiddos. They make sure they are active either in the classrooms or playing outside! They also have an app where you can send and receive messages, see all their activities, bathroom breaks etc... I would be having a bad day at work and I would light up seeing a picture of my kiddos having fun at daycare either at the movies or at the zoo or just playing outside!
I sure appreciate everyone at the daycare my daughter loved everyone working there! She couldn’t really pronounce teacher very well so she would say “HI KIKA” she would always get so happy to go to “Kaykare”!!!!

Based on the names of the two negative reviews about the driver I would definitely disregard them!! This daycare is 100% the best place I have ever taken my kids. My 4 year old gets so excited to go each day and is learning so much. My 6 month old is taken care of as if he is their own. They show so much respect and are very good people all the way around. Their new facility is very clean and organized! Highly recommend!
