This would be a one star review for service and feeling welcomed in a public facility, but they do have a lot of resources for young children so I opted for 2 stars. Unfortunately, the library staff doesn't seem to want children to use the resources.. When a library is essentially empty, but for young children and parents, and that library has things like a lego table, a wooden horse, a huge stuffed bear, and a children's reading area, they should expect children will play with those items. They are going to be excited and talkative because its a public space and not a church sanctuary.

Honestly, even though we are local, I avoid this library unless my kids are really insistent about going. I would rather go to the Cedar City library because they seem to actually want children to use their facility.

This is a nice library with a knowledgeable front desk and great collection. They even had an area for a community puzzle which I finished today.

Parowan is lucky to have such an impressive library. The librarian consistently adds new books from best sellers to special requests for readers of all ages and levels. She and the other staff members are helpful and friendly and so impactful in our community. They built a little free library across the street from the building. They offer storytime, ASL classes, book clubs, and lots of other classes and resources. They have a great children's section and always interesting community puzzle. There are areas to study, hold meetings, and use the internet if needed. You can print here as well for a nominal fee. It's such a welcoming environment and I'm really grateful our town has such a well rounded library. They really care about Parowan and contribute greatly to our community.

The blonde librarian here is extremely unprofessional and rude. I avoid this place because as soon as you walk in I can feel her negative vibes. The library should be a fun place to take your kids, not when she’s there though. And I’ve talked to several others who feel the same way. What a shame, used to be such an awesome library.

Cold and rude response from the librarian who seemed annoyed for printing $1.75 in copies. I have come here for 30 years. Naver has this happened. I was told to go to Kinkos next time. Really.

This is a wonderful library FULL of old classics and modern material. From our multiple interactions with the librarian, it was evident that she really cares about her community, the cleanliness and appearance of the library. She also gets the excitement of children checking out books then forgetting to return them on time! 😀 This library is a wonderful resource to the community!

Cori & staff are truly phenomenal!! My family & I LOVE the parowan library!! Cori has amazing Storytime books & activities & is always trying to get more books that kids (& everyone really) will love. Cori & staff (Ms.Kristin) are wonderful, so helpful, patient, & kind to my kids when they’re looking for books & playing with the stuffed animals, puzzles, & games!! 💙💙💙 They’re THE.BEST!!
