Gold plated advice, service, etc. A visit can run you into $1000's if you fall prey to all the scare advice, which tends toward extreme safety, much of which you may not really need. Rabies shot (2 or 4 depending if you ever got this in the past) for a week's trip on the ocean (dive boat) is wholly unnecessary, yet we were made to feel we had better get them. And of course, they cost $100's. A combo of cholera and oral typhoid pills cost $750.

We whittled the list of vaccines down to those only Passport provides, and still walked away with a $1,550 bill. We declined all and paid them $160 for 1.5 hours of scare tactics mixed in with legitimate advice.

DIY by visiting the CDC website and get informed. Then check & see if your insurance covers the vaccinations you MAY require. The advice we received from Passport Health was at the extreme, half of the vaccines can be had at CVS for substantially less, and the rest may not be necessary.

Texted my buddy who recommended the week-long dive boat trip, and he dismissed it with, "That part of the country is pretty developed, with lots of cruise ship visits. I didn't get any vaccination."

So we are going with a bare minimum few shots at CVS + taking insect repellent, and plan to drink bottled water, clean our hands frequently, & eat cooked foods at legitimate restaurants. Just stay away from viscious dogs!

Excellent experience! Sheldon was well-prepared and extremely knowledgeable. He informed me of every shot and medication for my travel destination along with the associated risk, high or low, and shared the CDC recommendations. I felt well informed to make the best decisions for my travel plans.

Sheldon administered the vaccinations, which were pain-free, and I walked out of my appt with every medication (and bug spray) that I needed for my trip without needing to make a separate trip to the pharmacy. Fantastic convenience. I would highly recommend Passport Health in Sunnyvale.

I never give reviews but I think this experience is worth one. Catherine was absolutely wonderful! She spent considerable time going over each of our required/suggested vaccines to ensure we were well informed for our upcoming trip to Africa. She was also quick to respond to questions both before and after our appointment. Would absolutely recommend using this location for any upcoming travel needs!
