I recently took patriot's 2 day pistol course. Previously, I had handled a few guns and kept one in the home, but lacked confidence. This class helped build a strong skills foundation and increased my comfort handling and shooting my pistol. The instructors were friendly, helpful, and enthusiastic. The classroom info was just as important as the range practice time. I'm really glad that I was able to participate.

I signed up for a course in pistol training at the Patriot Training Center after seeing a number of their emails, and then researching them a bit. The reviews were all good, so I decided to give them a try since I really wanted some quality training, and have not been able to locate that in my area. Taking this class was not a small decision; I live in the Seattle area, so traveling to Alabama was not exactly quick or cheap.

I am very happy that I did make the decision to take the class. It far exceeded my hopes by teaching me a lot about being a gun owner and carrying concealed that I had never really thought about much. The safety training was both intensive and extensive. Learning good shooting technique from really experienced shooters who were able to effectively teach those techniques was fantastic; I know far too many people who might be good at something, but are horrible teachers. That was definitely NOT the case here!

If I have any complaint it would be that I would have liked to spend more time shooting and taking advantage of the instruction. And even that is not really a complaint, as the days were very full and finding more shooting time would have been difficult. But I understand that Patriot also offers a 4 day pistol class, so when I'm ready to go back that should give me a lot more range time!

Whether you are a beginner or an advanced shooter you are going to learn a lot at Patriot Training Center. I'm going to work hard on practicing the skills I learned during this course, so when I go back I can learn more advanced skills and shooting techniques.

At first I was wary of what they were selling, but I took the risk and glad I did!

I partook of the 2-day rifle course and PLEASANTLY learned a LOT. I've been shooting my entire life, but was amazed at how little I knew.

The mornings are PowerPoint lessons on safety and habit. The afternoons are (outdoor) at the range.

The instructors were patient, polite, and VERY knowledgeable. They explained the perfect zero-aim distance, based upon trajectory. They quickly deciphered my bad habits. My groupings have never been better and most of it was simply changing my stance.

Take the class whether you're a new or an avid shooter. They offer free incentives, but make sure you get their personally built gun.

They are also an armory, also.

I recently attended the 2-day Patriot Rifle Training Course. The training I received during those 2 days was excellent. I came away with way more information on shooting safety and shooting techniques than I had expected. The trainers emphasized safety as the most important aspect of the training. I had never attended a gun training course and this course was great.

I went up to the Patriot Training Center very unsure of what I was getting into. The only pistol I had ever fired was a 22 in order to qualify for a permit in PA. I own several pistols, but never knew how to get training on how to use them. I just figured if someone broke into my house and threatened me, I had a pistol to protect myself. Well....come to find out after I took this life altering training at the Patriot Training Center in Alabama, I knew nothing about my firearms and even less about self defense.
I arrived early on the first morning of training and had more doubts about my choices. To say that it was off the beaten path would be an understatement. I started feeling better when I started meeting some of the other attendees and learned that most of us were in pretty much the same situation. The other thing that made me feel better was that most of us were in the advanced age category. I'm almost 76 and I knew that I wasn't the oldest and a lot of us were rank beginners.
The instruction was safety first at every step of the way. I liked that. A lot. These instructors were top notch every step of the way. They taught us from the basics right on through the last shooting test on the range the second day. They all had the patience of Job and the knowledge and techniques of Master Instructors. I recommend this school 100%!!! Anyone who could get me to a 84% on the final range test had to be doing a little magic on the side. ?

Very pleased with the 2 day concealed carry course! They covered everything you should know from targeting, ballistics, the laws, gun handling, sight management, target acquisition, etc. And left us with a printed illustrated manual that is perfect for review while providing even more detail and training tips. While I initially balked at the total cost (I flew from Seattle) verses local classes from likely lesser instructors I have no regrets. I got my money's worth and then some!! Wish I lived closer, I'd bring my wife and daughter.... and I still may. Invest in yourself, your safety, your family's security- and have fun while you do it!

I’ve been receiving emails from Caleb for years and they’re very informative. In one email, he described a free AR15 for signing up for PTC rifle course.

I thought that this would be fun, plus I would get a free gun. I told one of my sons and we were cautious this may be too-good-to-be-true, so I made a phone call. Talked to one of their staff and he made me feel more comfortable.

I’m glad I signed up.

The Colt AR that we received is a nice firearm, but the one PTC Armory builds is a superior firearm; custom built to specification. Make sure you ask about it.

The two day rifle course was fantastic.

The instructors were amazing at the knowledge and skill that they have in teaching how to shoot correctly. How to acquire the target and hit the target .You can tell they’ve been doing it a long time and they love what they are doing and you feel like you are part of The PTC family. The instructors want to make better shooters out of everyone.

Highly recommend taking their classes. We will be back.

I recently spent a unforgettable week end at a place getting trained on how to use a Glock 19 hand gun. The training team was made-up of a team of 3 men and one woman. They were real professionals and took their jobs seriously. First and foremost safety was the number one objective, and they stressed that religiously. You cover a lot of material in a 2 day course although not hectic they took the time for one on one training as we needed it. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and am looking forward to going again.It sounds pricey when you first see its info. But they give you a Glock 19, 3 magazines,,a expensive holster for the handgun and a 2 magazine holster along with a tactical belt, and 2 good days of training. It doesn't take long to realize how little you know about pistol shooting almost immediately. I highly recommend this course for anyone wishing to become more proficient at shooting. And any one thinking about taking up pistol shooting. I especially advise any females who just don't know if they could do it., this is an excellent opportunity to try it.
