My two kids had the best time and loved learning to surf at Pillar Point Surf school! The instructors were great, very fun, attentive and interactive with the kids (Dylan was their favourite!). During break time, they mixed it up with fun games and activities. Also, the BBQ on the last day of camp was fabulous (kudos to Eric for putting together a nice spread!) Out of all the camps my kids did over the summer, learning to surf at Pillar Point was definitely a highlight for them! Thanks for a great time. We hope to come back again next summer!

BEST SURF CAMP EVER!!
All of the instructors took their time to help encourage the campers and make each camper feel special. It was just the right amount of instruction and fun. The campers became confident and knowledgeable while having a good time. Thank you to everyone for creating this special experience for my child.

I went there a few weeks ago and had the best time. I've never surfed or put on a wet suit before in my life, but it did not matter at all. The staff were awesome instructors and incredibly nice. I didn't even make an appointment until that morning, but they were still able to get me in. If you're a first timer or have been a few times or whatever, this is the place to go. Couldn't of been happier with the experience. Looking forward to going back soon.

I recently purchased surf camp for my son after seeing one of their groups at Princeton Jetty over a few days during a 2 week period. After I purchased online and was informed of a personal scheduling conflict, I called the school and spoke with one of the team or owner. No worries, instant refund of a large $ amount and call when my son is ready for camp or group/private lessons any time.

Wanted to write a review to let people know you can trust this business to do things the right way even if things change. Thanks PPSS

Took a private group lesson with four first timers and it was great and 100% worth the money. Quick lesson and we spent most of the time in the water. Everyone wanted to continue surfing after this

They had low attendance and instead of canceling, they appealed to the parents and made private lessons out of it. Matt, Eric, Dylan, and Ryan are absolutely fantastic! Different surf school than the other ones but just as valuable.

My 12 year old son had a great time learning to surf for his first time at this camp. The counselors are really nice and the BBQ on the last day was really fun. The counselors were helpful by pushing him into the wave at the right time. He learned how to surf and wants to keep surfing.
Improvements: he said he would have liked a few more tips. And, he said it was hard to make new friends because a lot of kids came with friends, but it was still a really fun week!

I enrolled my sons in the summer surf camp and they both had a blast! They had plenty of instructors for everyone to get personalized attention, and I felt comfortable leaving my kids in their care. My kids left the camp hungry for more surfing!
