Excellent group of people! Great teachers who allow you to move at your own pace but they also encourage you to stretch yourself and acquire new skills to train in. All the instructors are extremely knowledgeable and competent. The Executive staff's always available to assist with scheduling all important appointments( driving, DMV). They too allow you to pace yourself and will always encourage you to do your best. If you are on the fence, check them out I assure you , you will be satisfied with this learning environment 👍

Best Trucking school out there! I recently graduated on October 28th 2024. They work with you and your scheduling. The prices are fair. The instructors Miguel, Hector and Mr. Jorge all will work with you to make sure you pass with flying colors. At the end of the day it’s always all on you! You’re the one driving! The staff inside Vanessa and Ana are very accommodating, everyone wants to see you pass! I will always recommend this school, thanks again guys!

I couldn’t recommend this place enough. Me and other students had a good time. We even had a bbq one day! I had the option to go to any school through my job and chose Pilot. So thankful I did. The three instructors are great. They have three different ways of teaching. All worked for me and other students. Anna and Vanessa in the office works with your schedules and are so helpful.

I’ve heard horror stories of other schools not getting the proper one on one time with students. Not a problem at Pilot. You get a lot of time practicing all the parts of the dmv tests. Making your DMV day no problem. I knew I was going to pass because of everybody at Pilot.

First of all let me say do not go to EMPIRE TRUCKING SCHOOL in Pomona. Secondly do not go any where else because when I was at the DMV at the Commercial Driving Test Center, lots of people failed, and other people had only 2 hours of driving time at their original school. I dove 1 hour to Pilot Trucking School everyday and 1 hour back to home. Definitely worth it. They literally let you make your own schedule. I came in mostly at 8am when they opened and left whenever I wanted. I came in late a couple of days but didn't matter because I was self motivated and eager to learn. All 3 instructors, Hector, Jorge, and Miguel are extremely great mentors. They will teach you everything that the dmv driving tests asks for. Them 3 will go into full details on everything you need to know to prepare you for your dmv testing day. They have lines drawn on the ground exactly set up with cones just like at the dmv for the skills, and offset tests. Same goes for the boxes drawn on the ground where you need to stop just like the dmv. They'll show you exactly how to pass the brakes system check. They will show you how to pass the pre trip inspection course. PILOT TRUCKING TRULY TRAINED ME ON SUCCESS FOR THE DMV DRIVING COURSE. It only took me exactly 10 days to achieve my CDL. First try. I took my test on the 10th day of school so technically 9 days of learning and accomplishments let me acquire my CDL. If you smoke and vape you're allowed to at the facility. There is a microwave and a mini refrigerator for your lunch. Lunch itself was 1 hour so that's very reasonable. Their bathroom has been remodeled and feels and looks clean. There was always toilet paper, hand soap and paper towels. There's chairs and benches so you can relax and take your own breaks at any time. You will have the exact checklist for pre trip just like at the dmv has for you. You will learn from other students also so you'll get a different perspective from all instructors and students themselves. The owner (Vanessa) will also get involved with you and tell you and show you how to do or what to say on your dmv testing day. This has been my 3rd school attending. California Truck Driving Academy wasn't paying their workers so they got into multiple lawsuits and the owner left the country. I was glad to get my full refund. PILOT TRUCKING SCHOOL FONTANA IS THE BEST!!!
Now, as I said in the beginning do not go to Empire Trucking School in Pomona because they do not have lines drawn on the ground. They will run out of diesel in the trucks so you'll attend class and some day you won't drive because there isn't diesel in the trucks. Alfonso will lie to you and won't let you speak to Frank and will say he's in the yard teaching students. They only want your money. I DEOSITED 500 AND ONLY GOT BACK 400 FOR NOT EVEN ATTENDING A SINGLE CLASS. If they mention DOR to you, run!!! Go to Pilot Trucking School in Fontana. Trust me. It'll be worth it. I waited 2 months for no reason because they aren't funded by DOR which is state legislative. I got the permit on my own using the app CDL Prep because it was exactly the same as the dmv's test. Their book that they let me study had a couple of wrong answers so I stopped looking at it.
If you want your CDL, go to Pilot Trucking School in Fontana. Trust me. It will be worth your drive, your time, stay focused, don't get stressed out, feel confident and ask yourself and them any questions or concerns you got.
