I have taken a freedom clinic with Ruth with both of my horses (Guinness - the Gypsy Vanner and Micah- the Lipizzan). They were great clinics! Ruth makes them fun as well as educational. Watching the other participants is also an added benefit to see how Ruth selects and adjusts the music to the different horses and the riders musical preferences. She brings not only an extensive equine background but also musical and dance skill to the experience.

I had the great fortune of meeting Ruth Hogan Poulsen through Jane Savoie back in 2009. Ruth is not only an extraordinary trainer, coach, rider, and horsewoman, but she is one of the most knowledgeable and gifted women I've ever met. My only regret is that I didn't get to know Ruth much earlier in life. The care she gives to horses and students alike is exemplary. Ruth cultivates an amazing environment for both her team and students alike. No pretentiousness, no drama, just great horsewomanship!
