Stayed one night on a road trip. A western theme is prominent, as it should given the location. The Hotel allows smoking, everywhere and then tries to mitigate the foul odour with a highly scented air purifier, which only adds to the nauseating atmosphere. The rooms are adequate. The AC is loud and interrupts your sleep.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is especially friendly to dogs. There is a whole section of rooms dedicated to dog owners... with special treats and doggy decor. There is a nice casino down the hall for entertainment. And, there is an awesome Mexican restaurant with a full American cuisine, as well. The chili rellenos and ribeye steak were perfectly done. We decided to stay an extra day because we liked the hotel so much.

Room was very clean & comfortable. Really enjoyed the Bath & Body Works soap, shampoo & lotion, that was a nice touch. Margarita's Mexican restaurant, downstairs in the casino, has great food and great service! Actually ate there a 2nd time a week later. Excellent!

Excellent place to stay. Loved the decor. Traveling with dog, best hotel we’ve found in a long time. Accommodating, clean, friendly staff. The room has a dog bowl, dog treats, poop bag, and a dog bed! We liked there was no carpet in the room. Would stay again.

Great place it is a nice comfortable spot in the middle of nowhere . It's totally what you wouldn't expect. Once you walk through the doors, you will be amazed. I loved every little inch. The rooms,food,art, gift shops, and great friendly smiles. Love boat in a hotel casino experience in Ely Nevada.I give this place a thumbs 👍 up. Will totally be staying again

I have traveled a lot for work, both in Nevada and California, and this is the best experience I’ve ever had at a hotel. It was incredibly clean, the staff was very friendly, and the little touches were very thoughtful. We stayed in a pet friendly room which had zero animal odor, they also left our dog some dog treats and a dog bed. The room was also themed and so cute. It is a casino hotel so they even left earplugs for those that are sensitive to sound. Although we had zero issues with that, it was nice that they were there. It was also nice that the room didn’t smell like cigarettes at all. It also had amazing water pressure and the cooler and heating system was top-notch. And the beds- super comfortable. After having stayed in a lot of hotels I’m very picky, especially about cleanliness. Any hotel that leaves dog treats out is for sure confident about a lack of pests! if we ever travel to Ely again, I will 100% be booking a room at the prospector. And I wish that they had a hotel in every town!

I absolutely LOVE all the cool decor in this casino. The horse by the entrance is awesome and there are many more items that i stopped to look at. The marilyn theme was also perfect. My gambling didn’t win but at least i had fun losing!

Traveling with two dogs isn't always easy, but this hotel offered us a great stay! The room was purpose built for canines, yet it felt upscale. Little touches like doggy biscuits and poop bags were nice. I especially liked that the floors had tile instead of carpet. Even the decor was dog friendly. Of course not all rooms are like this, just the corner of the hotel where we stayed, but it was really nice. I look forward to staying there again on our next trip to Ely.
