I enjoy visiting my mother at the Providence Commons independent building. The building is clean and the walls of her room are soundproof. There are always residents sitting in the lobby, that greet me, and there are so many activities for which the residents can take part, with sign-up sheets available. The echo device in the room is very helpful to my mother who can see what the latest announcements are. I’m glad that she has to check in on the machine each day. There have been occasions where I’ve heard that people have to wait longer for shuttle service to get across the street for church services, meals, etc because some of the staff have to do double duty. to me that is number one of importance. There should be enough staff for all positions. I appreciate that there is a communion service available every week and that mass is held on Sundays. I’m not sure if this is only because of priest and sister happen to be living on the premises. But I would hope that that is always encouraged.

I had my father there for a little over a month. The nurses would take it upon themselves to not give him the pain meds that was prescribed to him. They left him in a recliner all day and night and he ended up with a open sore on his buttocks.The staff didn't have any compassion or respect. I will never put another loved one in their care. I'm sorry I had put my father in this place. He was in constant pain and no one seemed to care.

Oooh this is the worst place ever! As we speak my grandfather is in the hospital again trying to recover. First they had him in a bed that the wires were taped and still a nurse got shocked! And it took over 2 weeks for someone to finally change the bed!
It took over an hour for a nurse to come . No one is in the same page! They have no clue as to what they are doing! They don’t follow doctors orders! Gave him full sized pills and didn’t crush them cause him to aspirate. Then couldn’t get his food right for soft mechanical food. Put him in girl cloths when it clearly says size 5 and someone name! And girl pants!! He lost within 3 to 4 weeks so much weight because if family wasn’t there they would let him starve! We couldn’t even be there for 10 days because of Covid outbreak..which basically he dehydrated and starved because no one would sit and feed him or give him anything to drink.
When family did come the drinks would be where he couldn’t reach them! He fell 2 times the last fall he scraped his head all up. Then he was just admitted to the hospital for dehydration and not responding… they almost killed him guys!!! You know I was advised by someone in the hospital to get him out of there because it was the 4th time he has been there! He still suffering from this place he has dehydrated kidney!!! That caused so much damage!
They claim that they can help with stroke patients and they put out there that’s what they specialize in!! They do not!!! They take your money but they do not help your loved ones.
My papa declined every since he was in there! You know, a family member went back to get his stuff while he was in the hospital and they had his room packed up and they already put someone in his room!!
I will be doing my part in getting legal help with this because this needs to be handled! But please do not put your loved ones in a place like this!!! There was more that was wrongfully done. But all this should tell you! It’s all about money! I have pictures for my end but Beware! Horrible place! I can only share the wires. But believe me this place is horrible..

It force e to give one star. This place is the epitome of poor health care Not o Lu did the employees steal my fathers money , damaged his personal belongings after he passed and claimed no responsibility. They refused medical care when later was proven to be much needed. They were absolutely negligible in my fathers care. If you honestly love your loved one, do not bring them here. They have zero knowledge on proper health care

Looks clean, Terrible culture. Filled with temp nurses who don't know and don't care about your loved one, yet chronically understaffed. Don't bother complaining to admin, they are too busy quitting or getting fired to care either. If I were to wake up one day and find myself in this facility, I would go AMA.

Also, notice how most 5 star reviews are from employees artificially bumping up the rating around the same time of the year, like some corporate mandate. Reeks of collusion to hide a sinking ship.

Providence is a very clean, and spacious care facility. My neighbor, who is here for short term is comfortable and well cared for.

Very nice facility. Lack of communication. Emails and voicemails are not returned , which comes across as being unprofessional.
Thank you for responding almost instantly, but very unfortunate it took a negative review to get a response.
