For the $130 I paid for a Friday night, single king bed, I felt it was worth it. Building, room and property seem well taken care of. There was none of that lingering smell you know that rooms and buildings often have. Good customer service too.

I was a bit surprised about the $20 pet fee as I didn't see this in the details when I booked and I definitely looked. I would change this to a $50 refundable deposit if all is well.

This Inn had a great location. Just outside the hub of Lone Pine. I was greeted at check-in by Danny. He was polite and very helpful. The rooms were clean and beds were comfy. The access by both outside and hallway doors was very convenient. I would definitely stay here again

Very nice, comfy and clean. A little less fabreeze, tho. Pet friendly rooms on the ground floor with dog area right out back was a big plus! Mt. Whitney is literally right across the street.

The room was clean, we didn’t take advantage of the breakfast so can’t speak to that. Pamela was friendly and very helpful every time we interacted with her. The location is excellent if you are looking to hike Whitney. It might feel a little pricy but you’re also paying for the proximity to Mount Whitney.

Positive: All rooms on the front side of the hotel have great views of the eastern Sierra Nevada---with snow. Lovely pink sunrise. Negative: Low water pressure.

Very rude and unfriendly receptionist. Has no clue about welcoming guests and how to interact with guests and was pointing out on things which was totally unprofessional and was not just a fluke but continued to be rude consistently for our 5 minute interaction. We changed our mind about staying there after our interactions with her and went to another hotel nearby.

My family and I stayed here on our way up to Lake Tahoe from Los Angeles. Upon check in we were told that the hotel’s water supply was contaminated by a bacteria! You heard that right. Bacteria. We were told not to drink the tap water but showering was ok? Gross. We were afraid to even brush our teeth using the contaminated tap water. The pool at the hotel was ice cold. Not pleasant even in the summer heat. Freezing. All the kids were turning blue and their teeth were chattering. The jacuzzi was roped off with yellow caution tape and closed. Looked like a crime scene. There was some sort of nasty bug or termite infestation all over the hallways. Hundreds appeared to be dead but none of the maintenance workers were making any effort to clean them up. Our room was run down with gashes in the walls and peeling wallpaper. I hate to be so negative so I will add two positives: the beautiful mountain view and the free breakfast (which included a good variety of food). We were charged $270/night + tax =$302 total for one Friday night. Highway robbery! Not worth the price but we were tired and desperate. We will definitely not be staying here again and I would not even recommend this place to my enemies.

Positive: Normally, great service! Negative: 10-28-24... Lone Pine, CA. The front desk clerk was incredibly rude. She was so unprofessional and appeared to have a big chip on her shoulders. Her people skills were atrocious. It felt like she had a big problem with men.
