Highly recommend The Realm!!! If you’re looking for a place that will take care of your child’s needs look no further. As a part time tutor at The Realm since 2018 I’ve watched the owners Jessie and Vicky go out of their way time and time again to make sure that every student feels welcome, safe, and getting the education they need and deserve. The teachers here are amazing, friendly, and they all care so much!!! The fact that you can customize your child’s schedule really provides the flexibility that many families need. They have really cool classes that get the students thinking in different ways, take them to the outdoors, teach them real life skills for their future and more! One class teaches them how to build a business and raise money to pay for their own class trip abroad!!! Please come on down and check out their class list and more! They have amazing camps too during school breaks!

The Realm ( Vicky, Nathan, and Jessie) are priceless. It takes a village to raise healthy children. In LA it's hard to find but this gem of an academy has become our village. From creativity to academics they have guided my son and I. They have supported my parenting experience immensely and even after we stopped attending classes they were still a stronger support system then the school my son was attending.

IF you don't have children or your kids are grown up and you have the time or resources to support an education academy, please choose the realm as the place you give, give back or learn to pay it forward.

They are growing children into amazing adults and I want to thank them by asking the community at large to do something for the Realm today.

Fun, creative, safe, and educational! All staff members have a great attitude, and are willing to ensure your kid has a good time. Their parent educational classes give a great insight on parenting skills and tips! They also have fantastic after school programs in addition to their homeschooling and musical lessons! I strongly recommend Realm Creative Academy.

After being really impressed with the creativity, learning and fun in the summer camp and spring camp, we decided to try the Realm for homeschooling. My son has been attending the homeschool program since March 2015 and it was the best move we ever made for him - and our family. Our greatest hope for our son's education that he would cultivate a life- long love of learning, and the character and self esteem to try his hardest and live up to his potential. We believe in project based, hands-on education that can be rigorous as well as fun. We found all that and more at The Realm.

Vicky and Jessie are devoted to pioneering a more effective educational model, and it comes from a place of love for all children. They recognize that each child’s potential for greatness is because of their differences, and respect each child as valuable members of the community. They and the teachers really listen and get to know each kid. The low student:teacher ratio enables all kids to have a voice that gets heard and understood.

Each educator on staff lives and breathes their work; clearly passionate about what they can share with the kids, and the innovative educational model they are building together as a team. As such every teacher is 'that one teacher that changed (my) life'. Every one. And my son has about 11 or so teachers! This has resulted in him discovering interests and talents in areas that he otherwise would not have, in addition to soaring at his own speed in the subjects that he already gravitated to.

The location in Santa Monica is fabulous and enables the kids to have classes out of the center, in nature and in the community.

The learning is exciting, deep, practical. They are also extremely hands on in social-emotional learning.

I could go on and on, but the bottom line is my son would rather go to his classes at the Realm than go on trips or holidays.

The space is very kid-safe and kid-friendly. The staff is warm and friendly! You know right away that your kids will be in good hands and feel as though they'll be reaching for the stars! They're attentive and sincere always. I love how grounded and real this environment is! Realm Creative Academy is the perfect place for kids to grow. Also, Jess Slayback is hilarious and very easy to work with. Hands down, Realm Creative Academy is the best place for any child wanting a place of creativity and safety with encouragement. They even offer edu-tainment for birthdays! (Education and Entertainment for any child's event!)

REALM is a great place to learn and grow! The teachers KNOW what they teach and focus on each student as an individual!
Classes are fun, class sizes are small and students learn in a way where the information stays with then!
Everyone at REALM is caring and open and takes time to understand. I would stay through college, if I could!
