Just the fact that this particular person has the title "High Reliability Schools/School Improvement Specialist" is a massive stain and embarrassment on this organization. Myself and several teachers who worked for her when she was principal of Fain Elementary wrote letters to the WFISD School Board detailing how she ruined that once great school with her constant harassment, threats, and extreme bullying behavior towards staff AND students, begging the Board to take some action to stop it. She and the Assistant Principal at the time turned a school that was a family and a place we were proud to call our home away from home, into a miserable, chaotic, and often dangerous environment for all who walked through the doors. They forbid teachers to talk to parents without one of them present and Clarisa implemented a policy where if she caught teachers talking to parents on school property, they would get written up on a complete fabrication. She openly spoke with staff about her distain for having to work with kids (though she referred to them by many derogatory names I won't repeat, never as "kids"). At one point, I had a very sweet, hard working member of the PTA Board's daughter in my class. Her equally nice and very involved husband happened to be the manager of a seafood restaurant. Clarisa would call their girls the "chubby cheese biscuits" and say they "stunk like fish" in front of the whole staff. No one laughed but her and Donna, but that never stopped her from saying it everytime the PTA or the girls came up in conversation.
