Cole has been teaching my daughter electric guitar for the last year and a half. He has helped her get confident with her scales and has taught her how to play with others. He creates many jam sessions for them with other students. My other daughter has been taking drum lessons from him since the beginning of summer. He's been super encouraging to her. She has improved quickly, and has had a blast doing so. He has been connecting my children with other great music opportunities in town and has been a great resource for that. I highly recommend Rhythm Works.

My kid has been going to Rhythm Works for 5 year. She had no drumming experience before starting and now she is the lead drummer in jazz band in Highschool. Cole is a great teach that comes to the band performances to support his students. Rhythm Works is the BEST!!!

My son has been a student at Rhythm Works Guitar for one year this month, and I feel qualified leaving the following review.

The studio is a clean, well appointed, comfortable space with ample parking and an easy to find location.

The teacher, Cole is a good natured, talented professional.

He brings something different to the table in that he offers Guitar Lessons for cool kids. He likens himself to The School of Rock movie but I would estimate that he’s actually much cooler than Jack Black.

He offers kids like my son who do not want to have a recital or, learn nursery rhymes on their instrument a great alternative. My son learns cool, contemporary music in addition to all of the fundamentals key to truly understanding guitar. In a single year, he has learned countless songs from all genres of rock. And become competent handling the instrument. The classroom has a very open and creative flow, allowing the students, including adults an opportunity to jam and I think that is very important for musicians.

As a sidebar Cole a most gentle and kind person. I watched a well-being grandmother mercilessly drive over decorative yard ornament while dropping off her granddaughter. The sound of breaking pottery was traumatizing as an onlooker (haha) and he was so patient, kind and laughed it off even though I’m sure it was at a minimum kind of disappointing.

He seems to handle every situation with a similar calmness and I feel more than safe leaving my children under his supervision. 10 out of 10 would recommend taking your kids to rhythm works!

I have been taking guitar/drum lessons with Cole for a year now and I am learning so much! I came in knowing how to play guitar with cords, but he has shown me how to play more than just cords and has made music so much more interesting. Not only does he teach you how to play, but why. The science behind it all, the diversity of each chord specifically, and the different ethnicities of where it comes from. He has grown to be a friend and we are so happy to have found him. My husband and I will be long term clients as he has so much to offer 😊

I started taking lessons with Cole in April. I had never picked up an instrument before so I was starting at ground zero. He is an AMAZING teacher! I am having the best time learning to play the bass guitar and it's because he teaches in a way that inspires, pushes, and encourages. He teaches in a way that I can understand and is fun. He takes my goals seriously and I know that he will take me as far as I want to go on this journey! Lessons are affordable and worth every penny! I highly recommend Cole as an instructor. He's got a true gift to pass on the knowledge that he has as a musician. 🙂

I was self taught on guitar and tired of dabbling the same old stuff. After working with Cole he helped take my playing to a whole new level that keeps me inspired. Cole at Rhythm Works puts practical real world stuff aspiring musicians can use into his lessons. He teaches kids and adults how to "play well with others"! When I came to my son's drum lesson, and he found out I was also a musician he said "grab that guitar! You're playing with us!" He is a caring, great teacher with a super positive attitude. Rhythm Works is a fantastic music studio! Cole cultivates an ideal setting to engage people of all ages to learn their instrument, play together, and have fun. As an adult who was searching for first time guitar lessons, I was intimidated by other environments, but Cole was friendly and easy going and made me feel at ease.
