I wanted to pass along my families gratitude to your facility. My mother is resident and every time we come in the facility is clean, and most staff are friendly and greets us. Especially the front office woman. My mother is always clean, hair brush, and clothes changed. I really appreciate the time the CNAs take to make sure my mother is as comfortable as possible, my mother seems very comfortable and content with all of them. Every staff on my mother’s unit has been nothing, but helpful and kind. The administration has always help us with any questions and communication has been great above and beyond. I really appreciate and thankful for River Valley taking such good care of my mother. My mother was first placed in another facility before this one and we could not wait to get her out, she was always crying and upset. Once we were accepted and she got to River Valley she has had many happy days and loves her CNA’s. It was a very difficult decision for us to place her in a facility, but so blessed to have her in a caring and clean facility . Thank you to all your staff at River Valley.

We recently moved my mom into this facility for rehab from a stroke and back surgery. From the minute we arrived it felt right. The staff are friendly, helpful and professional. The facility is clean and I feel my mom is being well cared for. They have tried to make every accommodation that we have asked for happen and have truly gone above and beyond to make my mom and our family feel welcome and cared about. Quite different from our experience at a previous facility we had been at! I am extremely grateful to Carlos for accepting my mother into their care and highly recommend this place to whomever may be in need!

The facility was very clean and the staff was very friendly and courteous. I would've given 5 stars, but was absolutely put off by our patio visit with my brother being continuously interrupted by people smoking next to us. I felt assaulted by toxins! What good is it having clean air to breathe if we're going to be inhaling cigarette smoke?!

Everyone I encountered from the moment I walked through the door was warm & welcoming. I've been to this facility in the past but it has been a few years ago that I was there to visit a dear friend. Now my brother is there who is near the end of his life & has stage 4 squamous cell tonsillar cancer & recently broke his left hip. His right hip was replaced a few years ago so now he has a matching pair. The broken left femur occurred while he was waiting to be scheduled for a total left shoulder replacement. While I was visiting, he was treated with compassion & respect by the ladies who came in to troubleshoot & check on him. As his only sibling please accept my sincere gratitude!

I met with Nicole the Administrator recently and was very impressed with her engagement and problem solving. Based on what I could see it would be very challenging to run a nursing home, especially during a Covid outbreak. It seemed like everyone there was happy and willing to help the residents. I have a lot of respect for what they are doing there.

The weekend service is not good. The aid n the nurse didn't seem to with it. They allowed me to wait n wait for them to respond to my call light, they want me to shut it off even though the service I needed was not done. I have been very cold for hours. I've asked for hot tea n got cold tea. I've asked for to be more comfortable n they just stand there like they didn't understand a word I was saying. When I had to use the bed pan, they just left me in wet bed n I had to try n climb out of bed n praying I didn't fall getting out of bed. They let my clothes fall to the floor n I hobbled into the bathroom. I had to ask to be wiped down to remove the urine on my body. I have not been given quality care today n tonite. Miserably cold too.

During my first visit since COVID protocols, I found the kiosk at the front to be very user friendly and thorough. Because visitors were required to wear PPE including N95 mask, all these elements were promptly provided. The visit to a new resident was facilitated by the staff escorting me to the room. Everything was done in a manner that was both professional and personal.

Pleasant greating at the door, ever thing looks clean and smells clean. Patients seem clean and nurse were paying attention to those in the halls. I was there to bring current med list for patient I was seeing, I was some what upset that since yesterday he had not had any pain meds other than 2 tylenol and 1 muscle relaxer. This patient is recovering from major surgery, suffer from severe headache. I feel someone should have either contact hospital to get info what they using , then get hold of what dr is going to be in charge of his med while he there. I hate seeing a grown man cry in pain.
