We dined here for my SIL birthday. Overall I would say it was it was a decent experience overall. My husband and I kind of left feeling like it was an overpriced chili's or Applebee's as far as the food went. The service was also not bad but not overly good.

We ordered the shirt rib with grits... Over dry and grits were tasteless.

Short rib w potatoes... Dry short ribs but potatoes had more flavor

Ribye was smothered in sauce and over cooked

This place is fantastic. The food is delicious, the people are great, and the view relaxing! I had stuffed avocados. Oh My Goodness! That was an experience in itself! One full avocado cut in half, filled with grilled stake sauteed with onions and peppers, placed on top of a lettuce leaf, served with a side of rice and the best pinto beans I've had in Rockwall. The parking is easy to access, although they are doing some renovations on it as of now. It has a nice drop and pick-up zone. Did not see any wheelchair access, but I'm sure you can find someone to help. The main interior room has a nice window wall that let's in a lot of light. The bar is also in the main room. To the right on the main room is the terrace, which is bigger than the main room. Right after the terrace is the pool that has a kid area and plenty of sitting area. Also next to the pool there is a volleyball court. Going down the stairs of the terrace / deck, there's a pub and a golf store as well as the golf course management. In front of this there is a sitting area as well as some other games. They have about ten golf carts. Te view of the lake is great! I would recommend this place to anyone, but you have to be a resident, since this is a private golf course. If you do have the chance to go, don't hesitate to do so, since you will enjoy every single second here. Unless you have a fight with someone, in that case, solve things first and then come here. Beautiful place. Clean pool, bathroom and pool deck area. Lots of chairs. Sun Or shade. Also has food and adult beverages available.

The greens and fairways are pretty rough right now. After playing the Dallas Cowboys course, it really looked bad. I heard they fired their groundskeeper which will hopefully bring it back to life. The inside bar is a happening place though. Good place to grab a drink and relax.

Great atmosphere and awesome people. Food isn't the greatest, but it's by no means bad. Great patio to enjoy a cold beer on over looking the golf course and lake.

(Edit/Update) with the hiring of a new chef and a revised menu, I've changed my rating from 3 to 4 stars. Great food!

One if my favorite places to go swimming, and it's not just because of the pool. I absolutely love this club it's perfect for any occasion. The pool area is pretty basic with a pool for all ages, a splash pad area that's perfect for my 3 year old, and a separate smaller pool just for adults. Now my favorite part is the restaurant 😍 🙌 I'm seriously impressed everytime we visit the food is absolutely delicious. Now the reason I'm taking the time to write this review is because of the staff especially a certain manager. I'm not 100% sure of his name but he went above and beyond to make my son's day. All he did was open the pool for us and bring our order out to us, but I'll tell you what he has great customer service skills coming from someone who's worked in customer service for over 10 years. He was so friendly and made me feel like he genuinely cared and enjoyed his job. Thank you to this young man for getting the pool opened up for us and bringing a wonderful end to our day.

I have been here a few times, and visited with friends that are members. The food is okay and the service was lacking for what one would expect from an exclusive country club. I have had better service at the Texas Road House in Rockwall and the steak was more tender. The ambiance and quiet atmosphere are where they get the 3 stars, because it is nice to have that exclusive feel while having a nice dinner conversation. The place is very dated, and not in a good, old fashioned type of way, but more of a tired old way.
