How the hell does the bus leave 20 plus students at the school because transportation did not schedule their route accordingly? Why was I forced to go pick my child up from school because their regular bus driver said "oh, you your route is not routed I'm not taking you home!" TRANSPORTATION LEFT MY 13 YO DAUGHTER IN THE RAIN NOT INCLUDING THE OTHER KIDS THAT GOT LEFT OUT IN THE RAIN?

We moved here over Christmas break and requested transportation. We were told by the schools that it would take a couple days to set up. It's been almost 2 weeks and no one will return a call or email with an update. I'm more upset with the lack of response than anything else.

Last year bus driver was great. Bus arrived on time. But this school year has been absolutely unacceptable. I appreciate the work the bus drivers do, but my daughter waited outside for an hour and 15 minutes for her bus, and kept her on it until 10:00, almost 11 before she was dropped off at the 9th grade center. She then had to wait over an hour to get on the bus, and another 20 to get home. We live 6 minutes away.

This was the first day for my children taking the bus for school. We arrived 5 minutes early as instructed and were put on the pick up list. We waited in between the beginning of the street and the end of the street as we were not given information on the specific part of the street where the bus stops. Me and my wife were there with our children as the bus drove past us. Me and my kids then attempted to run the bus down and the bus stopped for less than 20 seconds then drove off. We were also flailing our arms around as the bus drove past and as we tried to run after it. With that said, I am thankful for public transportation and can empathize that at times it can feel like a thankless job. But this was completely unacceptable, and just wanted a simple act of kindness, patience, and understanding for the bus to wait a bit longer for me and my kids to "Chase it down" and get on the bus. Shontella (please forgive if I misspelled the name) is wonderful and personable when I called to voice what happened. And I can also understand that sometimes the bus driver can be pre-occupied and/or "making the rounds" so to speak. But we were flailing our arms around like maniacs. Haha. Maybe we just looked like crazies trying to get on the bus.

*** I wanted to append this message as the situation was handled swiftly and the Rockwall ISD transportation team's response was immediate and very considerate. They really went above and beyond. We really appreciate what the team did for us and taking the time and care to rectify everything.

My nieces and nephews moved from Miami to Rockwall over the summer. Both their mom and I have been trying to get them added to the bus for weeks. The website is giving a 404 error and no one will answer the phone at the office. I have called repeatedly, the mailbox is full and Jennifer does not respond to emails. This is unacceptable and inefficient to say the least.

This is the worst school district transportation EVERRRRR!!!! I have been dealing with this Bs for 4 years and Every year it get worse and worse. They pick up late, they drop off late. My daughter attended the Gene Durton College Career while in High school she was drop off by Rockwall ISD at 1:35 it’s 4:19 and she’s still there waiting for a bus to pick her up keep in mind her classes there was over at 3:10 and School get out @ 4:10 it’s now 4:22 I have called rockwall transportation 4 times no one has answered. Please if you have a different way to get your kids to school use an alternate route. I Hate this transportation.

God the transportation absolutely sucks, last year it was perfectly fine I had no problem and was on time to school. Now the bus is arriving 20 minutes later than it’s supposed to and I can’t afford to be late to first period every day unless this issue gets fixed.
