I’ve done virtual training with Ian for several months. While nothing beats live rounds on paper/steel, I still feel a lot more comfortable and confident with pistol and rifle when working on dry firing skills with the instruction I received. Ian was very transparent during the consultation call with how virtual training would work, and was timely with feedback and offered visual aids and video to explain what I was supposed to be doing. I feel like a have a solid foundation of operating my firearms and hope to make it out to an in person seminar in the near future. I strongly recommend working with Ian.

This class was transformative! After my first day, I immediately signed up for more. As a beginner, I was nervous, especially as a woman new to self-defense after a recent incident. Ian immediately put me at ease. He's incredibly patient, informative, and kind, always honest and straightforward. He answered all my questions without judgment and ensured everyone felt confident. I deeply regret missing this year's class and highly, highly recommend his classes to anyone serious about self-defense. Ian is a wonderful and highly trained individual. I’d highly recommend training with him in any capacity, whether that be jiu jitsu, firearms training, blade defense or simply taking a seminar with him to listen to the wisdom and philosophy he spreads.

His kindness is contagious, he is firm in his morals, values and beliefs yet has an open mind and heart enough to engage with others who may not share his viewpoints in a curious way.

Great training one of the most informative and best trainings I have been to. Lots of 1 on 1 tips and guidance great pace tons of information. I highly recommend for all levels of shooter the pistol class was top notch Ian was super helpful and a class act. Highly recommend if you are looking to sharpen your skills and looking to learn real world lessons and ways to test your self or just hine your skills rune nation is the place to get it. By far hands down great top notch instruction. I have taken many classes in a broad spectrum and by far the best I have ever been to and the most I have learned.a hand full of other classes I have been to the instructors seem to have a do as I say not as I do but with Ian he was right there leading the group like a true honest leader and not just screaming from the side lines. Looking forward to many more classes with him and I can say enough on how great of a learning experience it was.

Ian is a great instructor. You can really tell he is passionate about the subject and really has a lot of knowledge. He makes you get out of your comfort zone and really pushes you, while at the same time is willing to slow down at any time you may have a question about something. If I could give both him and his courses 10 stars I would- his classes and instruction are well worth the time and money!

Ian is a great mindset, shooting, and movement coach with a wealth of knowledge. I really enjoyed training with, and getting to know him. He knows how to connect with his students and does so in a manner that creates a great environment to learn in. I was able to take away a great deal from his Pistol & Carbine 1 classes with techniques and mindset lessons that I can practice on a routine at home or at the range. I’m looking forward to training with Ian again this year.
