Woody was very informative and kept the entire class engaged for the entirety of course. He makes you feel very comfortable throughout the gun range portion even if you’ve never handled a firearm before. Highly recommend!

The new shooter class was very helpful in relieving my anxiety about firearms. Woody was an awesome instructor and really makes first time shooters feel comfortable. I’m glad I waited to take his class before shooting my firearm, because I was able to learn proper technique and safety. I will definitely be taking future classes with Woody and hope to become a more proficient and safe firearm owner.

The S.A.F.E. Training class was an awesome class and well worth the time. Woody is such a great instructor. No question was too stupid, and he was very patient with all of us. Very engaging instructor. The classroom time flew-by. I'm definitely going to sign up for more instruction. It was the best firearms class that I have taken.

Took the SAFE New Shooter Class for a refresher & to regain my confidence with firearms. Woody is an excellent instructer. Through, patient and most informative with an emphasis on safety and proper handling of firearms. Highly recommend and personally plan to take another course.

This past weekend I attended the S.A.F.E New Shooter class . I wanted to learn about AR state law and brush up on safety protocols and skills. Woody covered all of that and more! This class was super informative and fun. I really enjoyed Woody's teaching style as he was knowledgeable, approachable, and encouraged questions to make sure that we were absorbing the material. I found it very helpful that he provided plastic training guns for grip practice and dummy rounds to practice loading a magazine. During the range portion of the class, Woody encouraged us to try an assortment of handguns that he provided. He made me feel very confident when it came time to shoot. I also really appreciated that this portion was outside, as I find inside ranges distracting. I have taken lessons before but this time it just clicked! I highly recommend this course and will be taking more classes with Woody in the near future.

First time training with Woody with SAFE Training. He’s a professional, patient and creative instructor. He taught me many practical ways to apply his new training lessons to help me improve, even during dry fire practice, outside of professional instruction. Would highly recommend him and look forward to training with him again in the future.

My sister and I took the new shooter class with range time with Woody and we absolutely loved it! The entire lesson was so informative and he used props, videos, and written notes so everything was easy to understand and we felt confident to shoot once we got to the range. He went above and beyond and we will definitely return to do more lessons!
