I signed up for 6 hours of driving practice with Safeway Driving Bellaire/River Oaks, as a new adult driver. Eric has been my instructor and is very patient and a great teacher.

He has done a wonderful job of teaching me tips and tricks and guiding me through driving and parking. I feel confident after practicing with him and highly recommend Eric from Safeway as a driving instructor.

For anyone looking for high-quality driving instruction, I strongly recommend this school and Eric in particular. As an adult learner with minimal prior driving experience, I was very nervous about getting behind the wheel. However, within just three lessons, I was able to take my test, earn my license, and now drive independently without issue.

Eric was my coach and he is such a kind and patient teacher. He helped get through some things that I needed to learn better for the exam and always made me feel calm and relaxed. It's a pity that he doesn't take the exams since he is so calm and makes you feel at ease, even for a person that has anxiety like me, I didn't feel it when I was with him .

I had a great experience learning to drive at this Safeway location! Before starting lessons, I had never driven before and honestly felt really nervous about it, especially since I am 19 and all of my other friends have their license already. But after just three two-hour lessons, I gained so much confidence and experience—enough to drive through neighborhoods, streets, and even on the freeway.

My instructor, Eric, was amazing. He was super calm and patient, always giving advice and corrections that made everything feel less overwhelming. He really helped me understand the basics and build the confidence I needed. I highly recommend Safeway, especially for beginners who might feel anxious about driving.
