I had my first bass lesson with Parker and OMG it was amazing! I learned so much in 30 minutes than on than on my own. Not only was Parker kind and patient but also very attentive and detailed. Parker helped map my goals given I have a solid classical violinist background so it felt familiar. I learned to play a song on my first try and learned techniques to improve my playing. I highly recommend both Parker and school of rock!

Our 13 year old rocker has been going to this School of Rock nearly half his life. His vocal teacher, Emily, is so great and has done a lot for his singing and he has learned a lot from his guitar teachers over the years as well. He participate in the house band and performance group and has made some amazing friends and gotten to perform in some really cool places. His confidence has grown so much that he now does open mics and gigs even outside of the support of the school. It's been a really wonderful experience for him, helping him find and develop this part of his identity.

I have a 10 year old that started drum lessons at this school of rock about 3 month ago. Wanted everyone to know that the entire staff at this school is amazing. They all enjoy working with kids and it is always a positive and up beat vibe. Great environment for our kids. My son is also very blessed and fortunate to have Jeremy colson as a drum teacher. Jeremy is not only a very accomplished professional drummer but also has a passion for working with kids. What a great environment. They have also continued having lessons using zoom and it has been extremely successful. Again with positive energy poise and patience you can be successful. My son always looks forward to his lessons every week. Big shout out to school of rock Santa Clarita. You guys are awesome!!

My kids have been taking lessons at School of Rock for the past year. They have learned so much about music genres and have really began to master their instruments. The instructors are AMAZING and really take their time to connect with each student. The most fulfilling part of the program at School of Rock is watching my kids on stage beaming with confidence ! I highly recommend SOR Newhall !
