I've been attending the adult level Shorinji Kempo classes at the Whittier Center since summer 2020 and have greatly benefited from the experience. Shorinji Kempo offers a great blend of hard (kick/punch), soft (pins, throws, and release techniques), and mindfulness and meditation practices. $35 per month for adults and $25 for kids classes also makes participation incredibly affordable.
