I am a current student in the Medical Assisting program. The teachers are amazing, they focus on teaching exactly what you'll be doing in the work setting and tend specifically to any students who need extra help. The curriculum is on point and if you stay dedicated enough, it seems fun while learning! Overall, I can't wait to finish and get started with my new career!

SJVC is a joke. DO NOT ENROLL HERE. It is just a YouTube university. I took the maintenance tech course and it’s pitiful. The teacher had ZERO EXPERIENCE IN THE FIELD. No Shade to Dan, he is a great teacher and was trying to learn the material to help the students out. This is not his fault at all. Almost zero hands on training. Maybe 5% was actually hands on. They give you work books but expect you to figure it out in your own with no real teaching from the teacher. Save yourself the money and STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL. Not to mention, the career placement is laughable. They just send you job listing from indeed. And they stopped trying to help me find a job after just 1 week. They do not care about your education or your job search, this place is a money grab at best and unfortunately I fell for it. Hopefully this post saves some others from falling victim to the false promises this school shells out daily.

I went to this school in 2023 for the electrical program and would not recommend anyone go here. The teachers dont really care if you even learn because for them it's just a second income apart from their main income, so if you have no experience dont waist your time or money. To be honest this school is just a scam as this point. Extremely disappointed.

School is good for someone that has some electrical experience, but if you are new to it, the experience might be overwhelming. For my experience the subjects were good, I had more of a hassle with the person that suppose to help out with the job searching.

I am currently a student here. I would not recommend coming to this school at all . I am in the medical assistant program in my externship . They are no help I’ve reached out to everyone to help me and the two main people I’ve reached out to both happen to be out for the week when I needed to talk to them . (Daysa and Dean Meeks ) I also talked to Natalia Dominguez and she just had Daysa reach back out to me. After I talked to Daysa she told me to reach out to the President Ashvindar Singh for help. Daysa also informed me that if I don’t turn something in for my attendance in the next few days I will be terminated from school. But no one informed me about their being a new course/ curriculum change or policy. And on top of that I don’t have whatever class they are talking about. Because I finished my last class almost 2 weeks ago. So I don’t have any type of assignments that need to be done. They also gave all the new enrolling students iPads but yet never switched out the computer they gave us to iPad. The computer worked extremely slow and my computer would never want to work and would get over heated while being used to do any sort of school work. This school is absolutely horrible when it comes down to trying to help the students. In the beginning I looked into other schools and ended up choosing this one because it was the best at the time so I thought . But now I wish i would have done some more research. This school was not helpful at all they all lack in communication with the students .They all quick to take your money but once you need help they will not help you. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND COMING TO THIS SCHOOL WHAT SO EVER!!!

Losing too many points for attendance, when it come to a personal issue with family. Also not learning anything when things just get toss at you and expect us to know.
