My son has been attending Sky Taekwondo in Los Altos for the past 3 years, and the experience has been incredible. The instructors are patient, encouraging, and truly dedicated to helping each student grow both in skill and confidence. The classes are well-organized and engaging, making it fun for the kids while instilling important values like discipline and respect. I've seen such positive changes in my child's focus and physical ability since starting here. Sky Taekwondo has created a wonderful, supportive environment, and we couldn't be happier!

Our son started training Taekwondo during the pandemic when he was 6 years old. The 3 years of training helped him to get stronger (physically and mentally), become more flexible and be more self-confident. The philosophy of studying Taekwondo at Sky goes beyond the physical abilities and gives encouragement, discipline and focus.
The team is great, cares about the kids and is always very friendly. They were particularly helpful after our son had to undergo foot surgery and had to pause the training for a few months. Sky Family Taekwondo helped him to get back on track quickly while being considerate about his situation.
I also like that they offer family classes, so you can exercise with your kids.
Just be aware that by signing up you are committing to study not just the physical exercises but also the Korean language and knowledge of Taekwondo as this is part of moving up the belt ranks.

my children have been training with Master Jo and Master Justin since early this year. Not only have they worked hard teaching techniques they have, in such a short time, created a love and a passion for Taekwondo that I would have expected to take years. Sky really does treat people like they are part of a broader family, build amazing relationships with the kids ensuring even my 6 year old daughter learns the philosophy and values of Sky and Taekwondo not simply going through the physical motions. Master Jo is an amazing teacher and is very attuned with his students. He has a great way to engage and challenge the kids while having fun in the classroom! It is very easy to signup for makeup classes too. The facility is super clean and they follow Covid Protocols for each class.

This studio is run by a true Taekwondo family. The grandmaster is a world champion and all other masters including his two sons are high caliber coaches. They are friendly, patient and disciplined. My son joined Sky earlier this year to resume his Taekwondo training after a long break. He was struggling at first but thanks to Grandmaster’s motivation, he gained his confidence and with masters’ support, he started working with other advanced students in a warm and welcoming environment. Sometimes he feels challenging but fun as well. I am very happy to see him become stronger both physically and mentally. I also like that he learns not only sports skills and techniques but also important life values and etiquettes. It’s unfortunate to have the coronavirus outbreak and shelter in place order just a couple of months after its grand opening. We are grateful to the Sky team for their efforts to continue classes online and energize my son during the challenging time.
