This place is horrible. They did an evaluation on my son claimed he has autism and I wasn’t present. When I told them I had joint custody with the dad they closed the case and said they couldn’t help me. Please make sure they are professionals not hiring a Dr with an online 6months degree and truly care about your children.

As a parent, it is essential to find a trustworthy vendor who can provide the necessary therapies and early intervention to help our children achieve their potential. South Central Regional Center not only met but exceeded all my expectations.

I am particularly impressed with the service coordinator, Erica Correa, who went above and beyond to assist us in every way possible. She showed compassion and dedication to her work, and her efforts were truly appreciated. Erica provided us with the necessary resources and answers we needed, making the process smooth and stress-free.

I am also grateful for the support my son received from the team of vendors. They provided him with excellent speech and occupational therapy, which significantly improved his abilities. Furthermore, their early diagnosis of autism was instrumental in providing my son with the appropriate resources and services to help him thrive.

Thank you for providing outstanding service and care to my family.

I’m still waiting for them to call me back by services for my son he’s been in the program since he was a child. Now he’s an adult and he act like they can’t do nothing fine. It’s so frustrating trying to get him into programs and stuff that desperate now because the majority of the programs that they have but adult children Are like a daycare center and this is not fitting what I’m teaching him to do for his life skills And right now I’m so sick and tired of changing his counselor for one person to another who doesn’t know what they’re doing and the supervisor act like she’s too busy to do anything

This center is terrible at communication and lack professionalism. My daughter has been a client at the Regional center since she was 18 months. They provided her services but damn did it take a lot of follow ups. The first service coordinator, Shannon White, was very friendly and understanding but she would disappear for weeks. No word from her at all. Until someone else took her case by the name of Yvette St Clair and again, nothing. I asked if they could help me pay for my daughter's speech therapy since she is still a client with the center and insurance doesn't cover it, well its been a run around and no communication. Yvette then transferred my case to someone name Rosie. I emailed her on Oct 3rd and no answer still. Instead she calls me upset about a meeting that she supposedly had with me which there is NO record that I spoke to her over the phone. Once I told her that she started huffing and puffing on the phone, annoyed that she drove to my house for a meeting that I was completely unaware of. Extremely rude. I do not write reviews but the lack of communication and professionalism is extremely disappointing from a service that is here to help children and adults. Terrible!

I'm in an ambassador for SCLARC and I love it, there very helpful, and so much information. As parents for kids with special needs we need to get involved in our kids development and learning. SCLARC has so many workshops for parents. All we need to do is call and ask for information.
