Honestly the school isn't great. I'm an officer here and I couldn't have regretted it more, I would've quit but now I'm just doing it to put it on my college application. Most of the teachers don't know how to teach or are just jerks overall. The only decent thing about this school is the kids, even though half of them are ghetto. The curriculum isn't taught very well here, and I'm getting dumber everyday I stay here. Mrs. Lacy is the worst math teacher I have ever had, I have to have my mom teach me math everyday because she actually knows how to teach it and makes sure I learn it. There are a few good teachers here however so I don't want to generalize too much. But this school needs help

This school sucks. And as a student myself I can tell you that some of the teachers expect to be treated like royalty. If you try and stand up for the bad things they do, they will yell and scream. And let's not forget the rules. They are very strict. You can't throw snowballs, you can't run, you can't have fun. The food is awful, so is some of the staff. They don't care about the major bullying problem. THEY DOMT CARE. So, as a word of advice, do NOT send your kid here.

This school is okay. The bathrooms are crappy and they haven't done anything to make them better besides making them smell some-what okay. Mostly, the teachers are great and they are good at teaching. Other than that, I think that this school has some wasted potential and could defiantly improve way more.

This school is literally the worst. Having been here for three years, I can attest that drugs are a huge problem. I have heard about multiple drug busts on the school grounds. The teachers hired are mediocre at best. Some are really good, but mostly it sucks. If you want to be in the ghetto, then go ahead, be my guest. This is the reason I take anti-depressants.

I agree with most people. The school really could use some improvement. But their are some pretty good people and teachers that really do try. We should at least give them some credit.
P.S: Bathrooms really do need some work. They are pretty bad.

the food is terrible its moldy the staff sucks i think you should be able to talk the office without them yelling at you the lunch ladys shouldn't be the only good ones and they actually care. if you are a parent take it from a fellow Student do not let your child go here unless you want them to feel stupid and hate school they will get sick at least once a month unless you have the money to pay for home lunch. Expect discrimination. Not white, low income or not certain religion? Your kids will be bullied. The last time I tried to enroll my sons, they would not accept them. They kept telling me it was not our district and had me call transportation. (Note, I've had 2 other kids go there before)They made it clear they did not want them there.Transportation confirmed the went there, however. They then told me I needed my divorce decree and a notarized letter (they did not ask for this with the 2 previous kids) . When I told them to contact the previous school and get dad's contact info and confirm he had given permission for them to go to school there, they refused. I was not able to enroll them.
My daughter was also bullied. She reported it to a teacher that did nothing. When she was attacked, she was the one suspended and kicked out of the class even thou there were witnesses and she had her attacker's texts. Why? Because she was the poor kid and the other kid was upper middle class.
We submitted our reduced lunch form 5 times in 1 year once and it kept getting lost or they'd tell me I never submitted it. We were getting charged for instruments or books she never recieved.
Absolute worst.

it's an okay school. most teachers are really good and you will make a lot of friends here. mr earl is probably my fav teacher.
