We have been coming to Southwick Black Belt Academy for a few months now and it has been so good for my son. We finally just got my daughter signed up too and she is so excited. All of the staff are great and they are giving the kids lots of opportunities to practice being respectful and to practice self control. We always feel welcome and we have seen improvements in every area (at martial arts and at home too). I would definitely recommend Southwick Black Belt Academy!

We singed our son up for Little Dragons (he's 5) at Southwick Black Belt Academy last fall to give him an outlet for his energy and I am so happy we did. Our original goal was just to give him something to do in the afternoons, but we've gotten so much more than we anticipated. He has learned focus, discipline and really looks forward to class. He loves learning new skills and then showing them off to family. Its been so rewarding to both our son and us to see him grow in his skill as he advances through the belts. All of the instructors are so great with the kids and really take the time to get to know all of the students. They've been the best with our son, asking him what he wants to focus on during his lessons and tailoring the workout to his needs/skills. I would highly recommend Southwick Black Belt Academy to anyone looking to give their child not only something to do, but something that helps build confidence, character and discipline while being a lot of fun too! You will not regret it.

My son has been going here for a few months and it is the light of his day. So we decided to do the birthday party package here and he absolutely loved every minute. The staff went above and beyond (including one dressing in a quality costume as Spider-Man and playing the role the entire time). They did all of the set up aside from the nit-picky things I wanted to do myself. They kept the kids very entertained and moving the whole time. I was able to sit back and enjoy it as the parent.

We’ve enrolled our girl a month ago and the results we’ve seen have been phenomenal! She enjoys it so much, has meet new friends, and is consistently trying her best to learn the curriculum. She works out her mind & body; fulfilling all her needs as a young 4 year old. The instructors are genuinely great at what they do and we’ve enjoyed sitting in every chance we get. Nothing but the very finest people at this place. A few years ago our entire family went, myself, my wife, and my two girls that were about 10 and 12.

They work with all kinds of experience and ability. I had prior military training, my wife and kids had nothing prior. They treat everyone with respect, and turn out some of the finest taekwondo warriors around.

Nothing but the best to say about the teachers that we had. Both in taekwondo and kung fu, top-of-the-line instruction, a great family environment, very affordable. I will always recommend anyone who wants to get back into martial arts, or try them for the first time, hit up Southwick, blackbelt academy, we had a ton of fun, and learned much.

My family and I absolutely LOVE Southwick Black Belt Academy! They are so very patient, kind, and extremely well trained in all of their martial arts they teach. All of their instructors are top notch and make us feel welcome every time we walk through the door.
I highly recommend their Academy as a place for any age or skill level. We are so grateful for Master Southwick and Master Tia for creating a wonderful place to learn and grow through their martial arts academy!

This place is amazing. I asked on Facebook if it was a good place to go before we signed up. Within 24 hours, 40 people sang their praise and not a single complaint. We've been coming for months now and I absolutely agree! I've recommended them to everyone who needs a good challenge for their kids, social activity, wiggles, a disciplined activity, some self respect, etc. Leaders are amazing and great at keeping everyone engaged. My incredibly hyper kiddos come home relaxed, obedient, happy, and just...chill. It's amazing. Parent involvement is high as well. It's so much fun for everyone!

Southwick's is the best! The staff wants to see the students succeed. The staff become invested in the students, adults, and children. Even to work with the students one on one to make sure they know and understand the drills. I know this is their business, but if you have a good reason, they will work with you. One of my favorite places!
