I have had the pleasure of starting one-to-one Spanish lessons with Carlota this year. Carlota is a very engaged, warm, and passionate teacher. She knows how to figure out the level you are at and help you gain the confidence you need to move forward. She has encouraged me the whole way and understands the challenges that adults like me have ( I speak fluent Italian) with 3rd language learning – part of it linguistic – part of it is confidence, patience, and time!

I have welcomed her as a new friend in my life – and our lessons have revolved around conversations about family, parenting, and our mutual love of travel. In between less exciting Spanish textbooks of course!
Carlota is always so accommodating with scheduling and meeting locations. So grateful to have found her and while I have had to take a break due to family commitments – I look forward to returning to my lessons soon. It is just wonderful to know she will be there for me when I return!

Carlota is wonderful with my daughter. She speaks beautifully the Spanish language as a native speaker and is what my daughter needs to improve her Spanish skills. She has a great skill to teach in a fun manner my young daughter. Highly recommend.

Carlota is just a wonderful human! My daughter is in a Spanish immersion program and we were having trouble with homework and reading and we were in need of a little extra help. Our daughter has improved tremendously with the help of Carlota. Her monthly testing scores increased dramatically after the first month of working with Carlota. I would recommend her 100%! She is so sweet and patient and I appreciate all of the time she has spent with our daughter.

Ms. Carlota is the best! My daughter had her as a Spanish teacher from 1st-4th grade and learned to love Spanish… and other languages from this experience. She is now in the 7th grade and is enjoying a month of tutoring with Ms. Carlota before she goes to Puerto Rico; my daughter has an “early” morning Saturday tutoring class which she gets up for happily. Amazing!

Carlota was my son’s Spanish teacher in elementary school and he loved her .
She has a very fun and engaging way to teach the Spanish language ( writing, speaking, Mexican culture , traditions ) and she is an excellent and nice teacher.
Even after four years without seeing her , we keep in touch!
Ms Carlota is a lovely teacher and we miss you !
