This is an awesome non profit organization ! My experience in the past with this org. is that it fills in the gaps of meeting the needs of Marin County's less fortunate that all the other non profit organizatiins ie, Ritter Center, Homeward Bound of Marin are often redirecting families and individuals to St. Vincent de Paul Society when a catastrophy or disaster or severe losses have been or are emenent.

St. Vincent de Paul Society gets five stars from me for restoring my faith in humanity when had nowhere else to turn to , they are the answer to prayer .

Homeless Help Desk 1:30PM Wednesdays. Bfast 6:30-8:30AM, Lunch 11AM-1PM bag lunches at noon. They give a hot lunch AND bag lunch after noon if you don't dine in at 11AM. Bike racks and plenty of people live upstairs. On holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas they prepare a feast. Once I dined in when a local chef prepared real food. I wish they had a better menu like more vegetarian food and you think a foodie could advise some epic meals but I can't complain about that. My only wish is that they let my jazz band play a residency but all I got was some time on the piano. Good idea to eat there if you're homeless. How do the homeless get by if they don't go to Vinnies? Amazing staff upstairs help many people. They'll pay your rent.

Are open seven days a week and feed a lot of people, but there's never a line. you can eat just about as much as you want. They have excellent breakfast scrambled eggs and potatoes and oatmeal, starting at 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. and you can hang out and have coffee and also they have lunch from 11 to 1 and they also give out lunches for later. All in all I think they are a godsend!

Nice looking, well maintained place to eat for folks down on their luck. Good people there. We were sponsored by Bread & Roses organization to play music for the lunch hour and we brought them very much joy. We hope to go back and do it again.

They serve breakfast & lunch every single day of the year. Ambitiously serving meals to low & fixed, but not limited to, income folks. Other forms of assistance, as I understand it, available upstairs in the offices above the dining hall.

A safe place to come and eat for anyone and everyone. Open everyday of the year, from 630AM to 130PM. Grab some grub, get warm, charge your cell, maybe even grab some food for the road. Here when you may need it....
