Laurie is one of the most talented teachers we have ever had the pleasure of encountering. We have consistently witnessed how uniquely skilled and inspiring she is an instructor—providing thorough, hands-on guidance, while also providing positive support to her students. She also facilitates a positive, supportive culture in her studio, which makes for a holistically healthy community for our family to be part of. Miss Sophie is also a wonderful teacher, who provides quality instruction while also fostering a positive learning environment for our daughters to thrive in. We love our ongoing experience with Studio 1 and couldn’t recommend it more highly.

My daughters dance at Studio 1. They love Laurie, Coach Sara, and Miss Sophie! They are such great teachers. My 14 year old daughter has learned so much and has really sharpened her skills since starting in the advanced classes with Laurie and Sara. My 13 year old is being inspired by her jazz/ballet combo class with Miss Sophie.

We love Studio 1! The attention to detail in teaching is unmatched. Our son has been doing lessons here for about six months, and his dance technique and conditioning has improved SO much through this school. Thank you, Laurie and all the great people at Studio 1!

We love this studio. My girls have taken several classes here. They have very technically skilled teachers in a relaxed environment. If you want to dance for fun or want to move into a more professional level they can meet your needs.

This dance studio is amazing! Both of my daughters go here and they love it. My 2 year old has a blast and it gets her energy out in a fun creative way. She’s learning how to follow directions and the way they teach is just right for her age group. My 5 year old also goes here as well and she loves it. She takes a dance class and loves all different activities they work through each time. It keeps her attention then switches so she never gets bored or over worked in a certain area. She also takes a ninja class through studio 1 and loves it even more. It’s active and different from any other class she’s been in. She can’t wait for the next one. I recommend studio 1 because they really know how to teach to different age groups. It’s structured but not to a point where the kids aren’t enjoying the whole process. Laurie is very involved with every class and is very communicative. Never leaves a question unanswered and responds quick to emails and texts.

I've had a very positive experience with this studio. Out of the three studios I've danced at I'd say this is a wonderful studio for learning great technique.
