My child walks in with a smile every morning and loves waving and blowing kisses on the way out.

I'm notified on pickup everytime something happens and I can talk to the teachers about my kid's day and I get valuable updates every day

We first brought our son over when he was 16 weeks old. In the first two months, management had changed and it was definitely for the better. Andrea and Shenique are absolutely amazing. They have done everything in their power to better this place and it shows! All of the women that were with my son were amazing. Autumn, Lauren, Socoro and I'm sure I'm missing a few names but ALL of them have been nothing less than perfection when it comes to the care they gave to my son. We appreciate each and every one of you. We thank you for going above and beyond for us. Troy loved doing art and we loved bringing it home. You taught him so much more than we could. He excelled and it's all to you!! The atmosphere is amazing. It's clean. They care! That's the most important part...they actually CARE. They loved our son just as we did. Thank you ladies. You set the standard for us and we will be forever grateful. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for daycare. We love you ladies...especially Troy!!!

2 stars because the director at the time (Marcela) was amazing - i want to start by saying my son is 3 and has been in sunrise daycare his whole life so when we moved to maricopa last year and saw that sunrise was right down the street i was estatic. my son attended this daycare for less than 5 months before i oulled him out - they called me to come pick him up (i just started a new job and was in a probation period) -this was many phone calls i got -one day i came to pick him up and he had 4 write ups - my son is 3 and has never had any behavior issues - he would scream everytime i dropped him off - it got to the point where i would make my husband go out of his way to pick him up because they gave me such bad anxiety telling me that my son is alot to deal with - i transfered him to a sunrise next to my office and guess what - they have never called me or given me a rite up paper in the past 7 months - these people have too many kids per teacher and dont speak english so i cant even speak with the teacher about my child

My granddaughter goes here and she has been attending for quite some time. I know that no one will be better at raising your kids than you, but child care is a must, anywhere. So quit the complaining let them take care of business so you can make the money at work to take care of your business, or you going to tell me your place of business is better?. If you have a concern address it to the staff but be polite about it, we are all adults. As for me, it’s been excellent. Thank you for the years of service you have provided to my grandchild.

This is our first time using a daycare with any of our 5 kids, so we came in very uneducated and fumbling over ourselves. Marcela and staff were very helpful and reassuring. When we have a rough morning dropping our daughter off, teachers are awesome in helping turn it into a wonderful day! I love the app and the updates, daily reports and cute memories pictures of our daughter at play!
All around a wonderful experience!
Rates are competitive and they are DES accredited. Services kiddos from little tikes to school ages. Breakfast, lunch and snacks are well balanced.
Highly recommend this center!
1 year later adding an update: still constantly impressed by this daycare center! My daughter is learning spanish, French, and ASL! I'm liking the updated new system

I wish Maricopa had more choices for childcare. Sunrise doesn’t keep staff very long, so it’s hard on the kids with no stability. They allow kids to be at school that are sick. I mean running nasty green boogie’s. I know the staff has more than one or two kids they’re attending to, but clean the kid’s nose. The classrooms stinks. I really think they need more than one or two teachers per class if the current teachers can’t make sure the kids are being attended to properly. They make up rules as they go. They refused to allow me to drop off my granddaughter because it was nap time. People have doctors appointments and what not, so not everyone is going to be at school at 6,7,8,9,10. Once they seen my frustration they said well she can stay up here with us for 15mins (it was 12:48) and wait for the kids to wake up. Questions should’ve been asked before telling me she couldn’t stay. It was the way it was disclosed to me that was irritating. Both women talking at me, “it’s too late” “she can’t stay” “she’ll wake up the other kids”. Now, I have to call out from work or go find a sitter and pay the sitter. Do better with communication and understanding life happens.

Great environment for my 2 year old daughter.
When she first went there a year ago, she was scared and would cry a little as we hold her before we enter.
Now she walks in the building by herself and enjoys it.

Setting is very similar to a school environment. They serve breakfast/lunch/snacks.
They teach her many things, including how to use the potty.
