My son has had an incredible experience at Sylvan. Mr. Lee has absolutely boosted his confidence and the individual attention he has received at Sylvan has dramatically improved his reading in school. His teacher has even noticed a tremendous difference! As a parent, I'm also thankful for the flexibility they have for our schedule changes from time to time. I only have great things to say about Sylvan. It is worth the money and time. Every child can benefit from this amazing place!!!

Our son started with Sylvan shortly after the shutdown. We were concerned that he might fall behind without the face-to-face interaction. I am pleased to say, that since school has started our son has increased his confidence in reading, and has maintained pace with his math skills. His progress report was 3-A's and 2-B's. Sylvan really helping our son to stay on course.
Thank you to all the teachers at Sylvan, we look forward to the continued success. Without a doubt, this is one of the best moves we ever made!!

My kids attended Sylvan Learning Center in Hoover this past year for homework support and to strengthen their reading skills. We were so pleased with the results and how much better their attention to reading, comprehension, phonics, decoding, discussion skills after reading, etc became. Not only were we pleased overall with the outcome but they now enjoy reading so much more and have become more independent with reading assignments at school and at home. All these positive results we saw were also carried over in standardized testing as reflected on their wonderful scores. The management and teaching staff are so friendly and are super flexible with busy kids schedules. Thank you Sylvan Learning Center! We will forever be grateful for your dedication to our children.

My Daughter started at sylvan maybe a little over 1 month ago. Her teachers have already given me feed back about how her confidence has boosted in reading comprehension and math. Sylvan has played a huge part in that. Great place to send your kids. I highly recommend!

My son and I enjoy coming to Sylvan. He has progress so much in the last few months that I have extended his time AGAIN. It is so worth the money. I love telling my friends, family and strangers how great the instructors at Sylvan has helped him to build his confidence. He is in 2nd grade and reading on a 4th grade level. Now he is moving forward in Math; which has been an AWESOME experience. If your child is struggling, please go see Sema at Sylvan in Hoover, and let her make your child's life in school more successful.

I do appreciate the effort of the staff who were so kind and diligent.
* The experience at Sylvan learning was not entirely what we expected unfortunately. Every child learns differently. Having a few familiar faces work well for some but the same is true for having one familiar teacher. Having one person to follow-up prevents ignorance when imparting knowledge to the child as you can pick up where you left off. You can also see definite improvements from the first day child started.

My son started about 1 months ago to help with reading. He was struggling with reading comprehension. The Sylvan team set out a plan that they though would best fit him and tailored to his specific situation. Within this one month he was so proud to bring home a 90% on his reading test (which was a 65% when we began). I could not be happier with the results that he has received. The staff is amazing and willing to help and make suggestions to help the children be successful.

My daughter started Sylvan of Hoover 5 months ago. She was completely unmotivated about learning. The instructors at Sylvan have completely turned her attitude around. Now my daughter is excited about what she is learning and the help she getting with each session. The result are being monitored and measured to ensure she reaches and exceed expectations.
