We had an incredible experience with Sylvan! The staff and teachers are very kind and welcoming. They helped my child gain all of the skills needed for his upcoming year in kindergarten. Without signing up for sessions at Sylvan, he would have been very behind with his skills. They made learning fun for him and he has asked if he can go back to see Miss Shelley again. We can’t recommend Sylvan enough!

Let me start by telling you that I started teaching at Sylvan a few months ago, I can say that the students get the individual attention that helps them achieve their goals. I have seen firsthand the improvement in student academics and attitude. As a Dyslexic, it is impressive to see the strides students make using the tools and guidance they receive at Sylvan. I would recommend Sylvan for students looking for a little extra help in a subject or looking to excel in one.

My son looks forward to his tutoring sessions and has greatly improved his listening and focusing skills. He is starting Kindergarten in about a month, and I believe the tutoring he is receiving is preparing him very well for the school environment, in addition to teaching him valuable pre-reading skills. The teachers and staff are great; they’ve made us feel right at home. They’ve been very encouraging to me and my son about his progress and potential. We love Sylvin of Lincoln!!! We have had the best experience there! My son was struggling with his reading. He works with the teacher Shelley, she is amazing! She is so patient, caring and encouraging! She has helped my son so much with his reading, understanding and his confidence. She is always so positive and uplifting! I have been amazed at the growth my son has displayed since starting at Sylvan. Not only has he grown academically but his confidence has doubled. He is no longer afraid to ask questions or ask for additional help if he needs further explanation.
We have tried many other routes prior to Sylvan and now I'm kicking myself as to why we didn't start here sooner. He enjoys going because Sylvan makes it fun and the staff are great. The staff really seem to care and want the kids to learn. Communication is Fantastic. We get daily notes on what they worked on as well as reports on what skills he has mastered along with current benchmarks. Highly recommend Sylvan.

Sylvan has been great to work with. They have been flexible and diligent when working with our son. Our son was reluctant to go at first, but he is enjoying the teachers and positive reinforcement. He has brought a more positive attitude into school since he started.

He has exceeded his goals in reading and is now moving on to other areas he needs. Communication has been excellent. We are happy with the results and can’t wait to see how much more he learns.
