It has been a month since my daughter started attending Sylvan, and she absolutely loves it. She even says she wants to go every day.

I’m especially impressed with the director, Mariam, who pays close attention to every detail. All the staff are kind, caring, and warmly welcome my daughter each time she visits.

My Son began with Sylvan about a month ago & we can already see a change. Confidence plays a huge role in my sons participation during class, to see the small changes of him participating more makes us happy. We can not wait to see where Sylvan takes him.

Would leave a 0 star review if I could. I left this place feeling like horrible about the way they judged and treated my autistic son. If they tell you they would accommodate special needs children, it’s a lie! They seemed more interested in figuring out how they would get paid instead of figuring how to help my son.

Our son Nag started here around October of 2023. Sylvan is cultivating impactful habits focusing on his academic growth as well as trying to develop his critical thinking. Teachers are knowledgeable and very patient. Caroline, the center director is very responsive in producing updates about the progress and making sure Nag is receiving appropriate help. He feels so happy going here and takes joy in learning. Enrolling him is a very great investment!!

After almost one and a half years of online and shortened school curriculum during the COVID-19, I felt my daughter needed some support to get her ready to go back to her regular routines at school. She started going to Sylvan this summer, and she LOVES it! She even told me that she wanted to stay longer after 3 hours of classes. Especially, the Torrance branch has fantastic teachers and outstanding leadership. The assessment and the conversation with the director, Fabio, were very informative in understanding where my daughter is and how I can guide/support her. The teachers were attentive to my daughter's character, provided a matching way to motivate her, and offered precious feedback to the parents. The program and operation are very professional as well. Thanks to Sylvan, my daughter is having a great start to her year!
