I’ve been so happy training my puppy with TaylerMade! He’s learning how to be confident in stressful situations, listen to me, and gain fundamental obedience skills! Tayler doesn’t just train your dog, she teaches you how to train your dog so you can go home and build on those skills to strengthen your relationship with your pup. Highly recommend Tayloremade Training for all your K9 training needs. My sweet Franklin did not know basic commands and Daniel was able to help me train him. Taylor and Daniel are extremely flexible and helped work with my busy schedule. They definitely did wonders for my pup. Communication was excellent and they were always very responsive to all my questions. Recommend 10/10!!!

A small town hidden gem. The store was very clean and well organized. The staff were friendly and attentive and very knowledgeable. There was an excellent variety of products you can’t find at the big box shops for all types of pets at reasonable prices. The owners are board certified dog trainers and offer an all inclusive list of various training options spanning from puppies to adult dogs covering all ages and skill levels. They even have a dog washing station available! 5/5 Would definitely shop here again.

We had such a great experience with TaylerMade Training. Our one year puppy was extremely scared of strangers and other dogs. After a scary of experience of her running off at the beach and not being able to find her for over an hour, we reached out to TaylerMade Training for help. Daniel worked with us to teach Magnolia simple recall commands, increase her confidence, and teach us how to respond in certain situations. We purchased the hybrid package, so we were able to work with Magnolia in a variety of settings. Since then, we have taken Magnolia on a 3 week road trip and a camping trip to the beach. She did great and I was at ease knowing we had the knowledge to keep her safe. We have also implemented the things we have learned with our other dogs. I am so thankful we found TaylerMade Training and I would highly recommend them.

This is going to be a long post but a good read I promise!

When I moved to Lompoc in 2023 and welcomed my Standard Poodle, Cooper, into my life, I knew I had a big task ahead of me. As a United States Marine Corps veteran, I had struggled with anxiety for some time, and I knew that I needed a service animal to help me navigate the challenges of daily life. What I didn’t know was that the journey to finding the right partner in Cooper would be so beautifully shaped and guided by the expertise and compassion of Tayler and Daniel from TalylerMade Training.

From the very first day I walked into their training facility, I was both nervous and uncertain. I had never trained a service dog before, and I had so many questions, concerns, and fears. But the moment I saw Tayler interacting with her own service animal, I immediately felt a sense of relief. I knew I had made the right choice. Tayler's calm demeanor and the clear bond she shared with her service dog gave me the confidence to believe that Cooper and I could achieve the same.

At just three months old, Cooper was a blank slate, but Daniel's understanding of animal behavior and his ability to adapt to Cooper's unique needs was extraordinary. He didn’t just train him—he helped me build a relationship with him, teaching me how to communicate with him in ways I never imagined. Every session was an enlightening experience, as Daniel, with him unwavering patience, showed me how to connect with Cooper on a deeper level, making each step of the process feel not only achievable but meaningful.

After a brief break in training, I returned a year later, knowing it was time to really focus on Cooper’s future as my service animal. Tayler welcomed me back with open arms, and once again, she made me and my husband feel completely comfortable. No question was too small, no concern too trivial—Tayler and Daniel made sure we had the tools, resources, and confidence to continue our journey. Their dedication to our success was clear at every turn.

Today, thanks to Tayler’s guidance and expertise, Cooper is ready to provide the support I need with my disability. He is not just my dog—he is my partner, my anchor, and my source of strength. I owe this transformation to Tayler and Daniel, whose tireless work and genuine care have made a lasting impact on both my life and Cooper’s.

TaylerMade Training is the place to go for your puppy and dog training needs. I have a very people and dog reactive Aussie/Collie mix. Daniel and Tayler are the best! We are working through his issues to get him to be a well behaved puppy who can walk and enjoy himself. I couldn't be happier with our decision to seek help and more so with them as our help! It's important to start dogs on a good foundation, and finding you dog is reactive is an even bigger reason to make sure that foundation is solid! Thank you so much Daniel and Tayler for your work and dedication to these animals of ours! Also for your extensive volunteer service in the places we need it!

I can't even begin to express how amazing Tayler and her team are, they work literal magic. From her services, to her products -- you won't be disappointed. It's apparent Tayler knows her stuff & has a passion for animals.

With less than 6 months to work, she took our wild 6 month old golden retriever puppy and gave us the tools and techniques to train him into one the most well behaved dogs I have ever seen. Even with a short period of time, she was able to prepare us and our dog to travel on a 10 hr flight internationally just laying at our feet!

Also she only stocks amazing products in her shop and has created the best leash we have ever owned. If you go with anywhere else but her, you royally messed up!
