The Backline has a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel well-cared for, whether you're a student, performer, or audience member - and I'm frequently all three!

The drinks are yummy and the staff is top-notch. The bathrooms are clean and well stocked. There are places to sit while you wait in the lobby for your show.

The Backline showcases many amazing comedians, and offers awesome classes and workshops to the public to create the next generation of amazing comedians! I highly recommend coming to see a show, and taking classes, too!

The backline is an amazing space! I appreciate the recent renovations including a bar with both basic and craft cocktails. It was easy to buy tickets ahead of time but also day of show. What really sets this venue apart from the rest is it feels like a welcoming space. Some of the local performers are really good at their craft and constantly let you know that anyone can do it.

I also really like that if someone is too loud or heckling they will quietly tell them to stop so everyone can enjoy the show.

The Backline feels like home! Everybody in the community is so supportive and welcoming. And funny. Very funny.
My only qualm is that they don't serve milk by the gallon.

Genuinely such a fun spot, the community is one of the most welcoming I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, will definitely be a repeat customer! Also thrilled at the presence of gender neutral bathrooms, it still always stuns me when somewhere has them, but it means the world on a good night and even more on a bad night! Thank you for a wonderful time and I am excited to come back!

This is a great place to try something new! There’s something for everyone, whether you’re a performer or a spectator. I also love the location downtown, and it’s great that they have gender neutral restrooms. Thank you for providing a safe space in Omaha for everyone to have a good time!

Good show, talented folks for sure. But forcing the gender neutral bathroom thing on everyone … not so cool. I noticed a lot of women waiting to see if any men were in the restroom before they would
Go in. I mean they have two restrooms.

Why not make one gender neutral and have at least a women’s restroom. It was very apparent that most women would have preferred a restroom for just women.

Like I said great talent fun show but please consider changing this.

Well thanks for considering this change, because of two guys named “Clay”. I assure you this is not a political stance and just an observation made when I was there. The two women I came with complained to me about it.

Unfortunately the “where we poop and pee was never confusing until recent years and Trump certainly didn't convince me to write this review.

As a man I appreciate a good urinal and men’s/womens restrooms seemed to be previously designed to meet each “sex”/ Genders genitalia needs.

Ya know like trash cans in the women’s restrooms in the stalls to dispose of feminine hygiene products and urinals for the fellas as a lot of still don’t sit down to pee.

I mean last time any woman invited me to a restroom to drop a loaf of corn studded meat loaf together was never but maybe that’s just me.

Go up
