Home Church: A True Answered Prayer

God is great all the time, and He truly answers prayers! For over six months, I had been praying for the Lord to guide me—whether to remain at my current church or move. I trusted in His timing and patiently waited for an answer. After visiting a few different churches, my prayers were answered when I found Home Church.

This Bible-based, family-oriented church is exactly what my family and I needed. The warmth and love that we’ve experienced here are incredible, and I can honestly say that walking through the doors of Home Church feels like coming home. What stands out the most is how committed they are to teaching the Word of God. Everything is grounded in Scripture, and Jesus is always at the center of it all.

There are amazing youth services for different age groups, which has been a blessing for our children, and they offer several family functions throughout the year that truly foster a sense of community. Pastor Tim and Pastor Luke, along with their incredible, God-fearing families, have been such a blessing to us. Their love for the Lord and dedication to leading this church is evident in every service and interaction.

My family and I LOVE this church! We have and we can honestly say that we have never experienced anything like this church the faith and worship is so strong this is truly a house of the lord. The pastors are amazing and everyone here is a family all brothers and sisters of Christ... This is honestly our Home away from home also the children's programs are phenomenal. My first time as a visitor! Came to the candlelight service for Xmas eve . A little apprehensive to come because of my skin color but I felt so welcomed and at peace here! The sermon and songs were quaint and I really did feel “at home.” I was greeted and acknowledged by the pastor and his wife (I think) when I went to take vids of the candles after service too 🙂

The Home Church in Lodi is a true gem! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted by lovely people who make you feel like family. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, truly making it feel like home. The sermons are deeply rooted in God's truth, offering spiritual nourishment and encouragement every week. The children's program is excellent, providing a fun and safe environment for kids to learn and grow in their faith. And let's not forget the cafe—it's awesome! A perfect place to connect with others over a delicious cup of coffee. While no place is perfect, the Home Church comes very close. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine and loving church community!

The home church is a wonderful Bible based church. Many wonderful people who love the Lord and put God first in their lives. One of the best parts is we are debt free. Amen!!
